I am using the zoom account my work owns and I am trying to test out the recording function but every time I hit the record button, all it does is bring up the record settings. No other start button comes up or anything, no recording is started. What do I do here?

I've tested to take a group photo with Group Photo App, and it only takes the host's photo even though other participants(2) have allowed to take the photo, the collage is only showing the host, is there a glitch with the App?
Hello ! Currently, I'm trying to help a person under Ubuntu who wishes to share their screen with their audio c: However, when they start sharing their screen (while ticking the "Share audio" option), their audio is not shared at all 😞 We've tried to : - Check the Zoom Engine volume to see if it's not muted, and it isn't - Reinstalling Zoom However, the sound is still absent... Do you have any clue as to why that is ? Could it be fixed by using either Pulseaudio or Pipewire ? (i haven't tried to reinstall Pipewire on their computer, so i'll ask them to do it) Thank you for your answers!
when compairing to another computer on which the sound works, it seems that Zoom actually created a new Audio Output called "zoom_combine_device" that you need to select in order to get the audio - however, on the computer of the person, Zoom doesn't generate it 😞

Hello friends, Our meeting participants in China suddenly cannot attend the meeting. It says: Due to the restriction of the host account, you cannot join the meeting. Error code: 13215. We paid annual fee for our accounts. We are in the US. I don't why it suddenly won't work. Any ideas? Warm regards. Andrew

I have a transcript from an important Meetings conversation that is broken into so many time stamps that the transcript is near useless because I'll need to spend a long time deleting and combining phrases to create complete sentences. It has broken everything into short phrases, many just two or three words, before adding another one. I was poking around to see if I could regenerate the transcript, and so far do not see how to do that. In the process, I discovered that I actually have the option to allow a time stamp for cloud recordings unchecked. So I would think I should not even be getting them. So two questions: why am I getting time stamps with this turned off, and is there a way to fix this current transcript?

I have just installed Ubuntu 22.04 on my PC, I previously used Ubuntu 20.04. Since the OS upgrade, and reinstallation of the Zoom client, I can no longer use Virtual Background. If I go to Settings and select Virtual Background I can see the images available (including some of my own that I added. Then nothing until the "I have a green screen" checkbox. This is actually new behaviour as earlier this morning it showed the colour of the green screen, although it wasn't green and clicking on the colour did nothing, i.e. I was not shown any colours to select. Confusingly, if I select an image, I see that image as my background while in the Virtual Background menu option. However, when I go to the Video option, all I see as my background is my green screen. Returning to the Virtual Background option also only shows the green screen, not the background image I selected. This used to work perfectly and the only difference is the new version of Ubuntu - and possibly a later version of the client; I'm running version 5.13.7 (683). Checking for updates states I am on the latest version. Clicking the Virtual Background setting on my account appears to do nothing. Any advice gratefully received. Keith
