Is there any way to declutter the Zoom-Client? We use the app daily and it is a great tool, but the absolute onslaught of new features and apps and integrations and notifications and new pop-ups in the "Zoom Workspace"-UI is such a downgrade in our user experience. We just want a first class conference tool. We don't need 1000 other features AND most of all we don't want to be bombarded with notifications and red numbers that need attention. If there was a possibility to hide all that, we will stay happy and loyal customers, but if we don't get the option to customize the Zoom UI to our needs, we will need to switch to a competitor. Please respect your users time and attention.

Hello,

I’m having an issue logging into Zoom using the “Sign in with Google” option on my Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet. After I select my Google account, I get redirected to a screen that says “Zoom will launch in a few seconds,” but nothing happens. I’m stuck on that screen and Zoom does not open.

Details:

- Device: Xiaomi Pad 6

- OS: HyperOS 2.0.2.0 (Android 14)

- Zoom App Version: (please insert your version here)

- Issue: Google login hangs after authentication, app doesn't resume

I’ve tried:

- Reinstalling Zoom

- Clearing app cache and data

- Updating Android System WebView

- Using different browsers

- Manually switching back to Zoom

- All system updates are installed

The same Google account works fine on other devices (Windows PC, Android phone), so the issue seems specific to this tablet or OS.

Please advise on a fix or possible workaround. Thank you!

Best regards,

Mariia

Hi there team,
I would like to know if there is a way to hide the recording icon (🎬) under an event in the calendar inside the Zoom workspace app. I want to share the recording with a select few people who attended that specific video call, not all the attendees.
My scenario is that everyone who attended with the same domain can see the recording by clicking the icon on their zoom workspace app; even if they do not have the sharing link, and we just want to share that recording to specific people.
How can this be managed?
We have a Workplace Pro account and we use Apple Laptops.

Thanks in advance.

Bitte Hilfe

I had used sdk key and secret from another new email subscribing Video SDK | Pay As You Go

Integration looks successful and the participant shown in waiting state until host start the meeting via app.

But on starting the meeting i am getting following error.

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue where, every time I share my screen in a Zoom meeting on my Mac, I get a recurring pop-up in the Control Center. It says something like, “Your screen has been accessed X times by Zoom in the past 30 days,” and confirms that Zoom is currently accessing my screen.

I understand that this is a security feature, and I have already granted Zoom the necessary permissions, so I’m okay with it accessing my screen. However, the pop-up keeps appearing every 10 seconds, making that part of my screen unusable. This is extremely disruptive, especially when I need to work on something while sharing my screen.

Is there any way to disable this notification? Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have just installed my laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (with Cinnamon desktop) and when I start the zoom app (6.3.6 version) the all sections in the header are stuck. It's not able to access to the chats either. Only the settings menu is able to access. The Calendar/Events is showing the message "Loading your sidebar".

I login using SSO without problems. It works fine with Ubuntu 22.04 but not in Ubuntu 24.04. This seems not to be the problem.

I did remove my office365 account in my profile in the zoom website, but the issue is still happening.

I have had to downgrade the zoom version to 6.2.3 (2056) and I'm able to access to the chats and calls sections at least, but the main issue is not solved. I'm still not able to access to the calendar/events, mail, whiteboards,... I always get the message "Loading whiteboards", "Loading Apps", "Loading your Mail",.....

Could someone help me, please?. It seems to be something related to the integration between Ubuntu 24.04 and Zoom.

Is this an already reported and known bug, and does it have a fix yet?

Many thanks

I cannot see the screen shared by someone else

I just installed zoom on a new windows laptop. I now cannot see the shared screen from someone else. (I do know how to share screens. This is not the problem. I have been using Zoom since it started.) Any thoughts on what is wrong?

I think someone is on my account because I have another person using my account with a different name. HELP!  I have had this account for almost 5 years and I go to 2 meeting every day.  I'm overwhelmed by Zoom's technical terms.  I called up Zoom and Zoom instructs me to do 2 numbers from my account, and I did that.  They said they could NOT find my account!  Please, can someone help me?  I have the latest update for Zoom although I have an old MAC OS computor.
