I think it would be a huge benefit if direct messages between participants in zoom meetings were kept separate from the general chat box because this does help those who would rather focus on only the direct chats that they send and/or receive. This would also be a benefit to the general chat box meaning any chat taking place between all participants there wouldn't be broken up for each participant if they sent or received a direct message while the chat was active. 

Ultimately both types of in-meeting chat would become more manageable to follow and participate in due to there being no interference

Host is in a different meeting... but that's me, and I'm not

I have a single zoom meeting every week with the same person. I don't schedule it or anything, I just use the default zoom room - login and press "new meeting" to host. The other person has had the login information for this for months.But just yeste... Show more

I have a single zoom meeting every week with the same person. I don't schedule it or anything, I just use the default zoom room - login and press "new meeting" to host. The other person has had the login information for this for months.

But just yesterday I do the exact same thing, and they do the exact same thing, and for them it shows "the host is in a different room". So I copy the zoom invitation for my personal meeting room again and send it to them again, just in case it changed for some reason, and they say the same thing happened.

The only thing different is I changed devices, but I don't see how that could impact it since zoom is all online. I've double checked that I've logged in correctly. The meeting ID I've sent them and the password is identical to the details from months ago, and I literally copy pasted it for that meeting room.

What's going on, and how can I work around this? Should I schedule a meeting to see if that helps?

lost video from other participants

I've lost the video feed from others in the meeting.  Still hear them, but black screen.  Others can see/hear me.  

Resolved! "This meeting is for authorized attendees only" when Security configurations are disabled

When we invite others to join a zoom meeting, they have been receiving the pop up with written "This meeting is for authorized attendees only". It would make sense if would have this enabled in our meeting security configuration, but all our settings... Show more

When we invite others to join a zoom meeting, they have been receiving the pop up with written "This meeting is for authorized attendees only". It would make sense if would have this enabled in our meeting security configuration, but all our settings related to authorised attendees are off:
- Only authenticated users can join meetings from Web client: OFF
- Only authenticated panelists can join webinars
- Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join meetings and webinars

 

We previously did not have this issue. What could the problem be given that we have not set this up in the settings?

I recorded an interview with a presenter for my summit on Saturday, October 30th, When I went to check it out, I got a "Server execution failed" error. I had another file I recorded just before this one. It opened the first time I clicked on it; the second time, I got this error. I then tried opening several files I had opened in the past and got the error on every one of them. Basically, I can not open any of the recordings I have saved. HELP! I'm desperate because of my Saturday summit. I appreciate any solution.

In June 2023, all of my cloned weekly meetings vanished.  I used my template to create replacement meetings.  Now, using the new meeting link, MeetingID and Password, my attendees and I are getting and error message stating that I am attending another meeting.  When I click to "exit the other meeting" I am able to start and enter the one/only meeting that exists.  There are no other meetings.  I do one call weekly.  There are no other meetings scheduled.  I (alone) am starting the one and only meeting that is listing under "Meetings" within my account.

I have set up a meeting and required registration.  This is working for the majority of people but I have a few that gets an email message saying they can't register and try a different email.  After they have tried several different emails, they contact me for assistance.  I asked them to login to their zoom account then try to register but this has failed to solve the problem. 

 

Is there any way I can register them from my screen?  I see how to manage but that only lets me either automatically approve or manually approve.  It does not get the ability to input a registration.

 

assistance please on how to register these people.

Resolved! Controller is not showing upcoming meetings

One of our Zoom Rooms does not display any upcoming meetings on the controller (web and iPad). Calendar Integration is set up and had been working fine up until now. Other rooms work fine. We use Office 365. I have gone through the setup instructions... Show more

One of our Zoom Rooms does not display any upcoming meetings on the controller (web and iPad).

 

Calendar Integration is set up and had been working fine up until now. Other rooms work fine. We use Office 365.

 

I have gone through the setup instructions and tested both App-level Impersonation and Full Delegate Access. Both work for the other rooms but not this one. 

 

Using the service account I can access the resource's mailbox and calendar using OWA without issue. I can add and remove meetings without error. 

 

The Calendar Integration page shows all as "Synced"

 

The room is on version 5.15.0(1273)
