Their installation is user-level so I'm not able to use our update manager.

Hi, Im an admin user. I'm generating usage reports for a recurring meeting to find out if people registered have never attended or when they last attended. I generate the report for the month and then filter out the people who attended the recurring meeting that Im interested in, however, the date format of when they started is inconsistent. In some reports it is stored as mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss date format but in other reports it is stored as text and then I cannot treat it as a date in excel formulas. Is there a way to make sure it is always generated as a date format?

Im using a microsoft windows PC

I started a meeting and has my screen shared.  I invited someone and as soon as they log in, I get a box that pops up that tells me I'm restricted from sharing.  I have combed through the message boards and checked/unchecked just about every box and nothing works.   I'm on a MacBook Pro.  Never had this issue with my PC.  :-(. And of course I need to be on a meeting tonight that I need to share my screen.

Box says Bc I am restricted from screen sharing when external users are present, my screen sharing has stopped.  It's my account, how am I restricted??

Hello everyone -

I have an Education account; I teach at a university and my account is via the university. I have a Personal Meeting Room that is my own, for example (not shared by others even at the university).  When I go to my zoom page at look at "Account profile" it says "XYZ University."

My colleague (not at the University) has a Pro account with a license to hold a 1000 person Event. They would like to make me an Alternative Host for an upcoming webinar they are putting on. However, as they are creating the event, on the Schedule a Webinar page when they add my university email address an error pops up, "Unable to assign email at university dot edu as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time."  I thought maybe it was because the system thinks I don't have an account.

Survey Exel error

I'm curious why a blank window appears instead of the name when I download a survey Excel file.

I've been experiencing this issue when downloading survey files for the past few days.

What steps should I take to resolve this?

Removed participant (bomber) able to rejoin repeatedly

Last night we had a bomber that kept coming back into the meeting after he was removed. He had changed his name so we didn't know it was him until after we let him back in. The setting is correct, " Allow removed participants to rejoin is disabled". ... Show more

I stumbled across a potential (serious) problem with the Zoom plugin today. My non-Zoom meetings are now showing up in the Zoom calendar – they appear on the day they are scheduled to take place. I discovered this by logging in to check something else, and a privately-set calendar reminder that I had for this morning appeared in the Zoom account. I ran a test by adding a new calendar appt for Friday – it didn’t show up on Zoom – and then a second test appointment for today, and it did show in Zoom. (They appear as “Not a Zoom Meeting.”)

My ZOOM account used to work properly. Now, and I don't know why, it is not working the way it did before. Whenever I set up a meeting ahead of time, then later join the meeting, then ZOOM thinks that I am a PARTICIPANT. It does not recognize me as the owner of the account, so I cannot make someone a co-host and I cannot allow someone to record the meeting. How can I fix this?

Hi -- I'm running the zoom app on my chromebook 1.6.0.1691 (0724) .

- When I create and launch a meeting, my video & camera work fine.

- For some other people whose meetings I attend, my camera does not function during the meeting. It works fine when I'm in the waiting room, but when the meeting starts, my camera is grayed out. Meeting owners have sent me an invitation to turn on my camera and that doesn't work.

--- So far, this has happened multiple times consistently with one meeting creator (although it only started a few months ago -- before that it was working fine). It has happened once with a different meeting creator. Other meeting creators, it is fine with.

-- If I use the zoom app on my phone, video is fine. So it seems to be specific to the chrome app and not related to my account overall.

Note that these meeting creators are all people with different accounts and organizations.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Adam
