Always when switching on the programm I can no longer see the video/image of the other attendees. Is there a way to make sure Zoom opens the Video in a small window (like skype used to do)?

I find my email address being spammed repeatedly event if I unsubscribe or even use the unsubscribe link given to me by Zoom.

It is absolutely unacceptable that I have no control over when or how Zoom emails me.

If the excuse is "the users can upload a database of emails and names and just invite as many people as they want" that to me seems in direct breach of GDPR and my ability to choose when and how I receive emails using my data.

Zoom, there must be a way for your systems to literally never email me. I don't care who uploads my email address, I don't register for webinars and I literally never use my Zoom account. Please can someone explain to me why, even after "unsubscribing" my email is still being abused.

Blurry Background

I updated to the newest version, and now my background is slightly blurry. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, did you figure out how to make it clear again?

Thanks!

Resolved! Not receiving email confirmations after registering for events.

I am not receiving the email confirmations after registering for events within the company.  I see the "successful registration" message, but never receive the email with the link to add to calendar/attend the sessions.

My Zoom app recently updated to Zoom Workplace and now includes the "create clips" facility. There is a keyboard shortcut built in (Ctrl+Alt+C) that opens that window even when Zoom is closed. Unfortunately it is a keyboard shortcut that I had set up for use in Word and it's one that I use *all the time* 😞 I have disabled the clips feature in Zoom, but that keyboard shortcut now seems to have been irrevocably allocated to that function, so when I type it in Word, nothing happens, and I can't allocate it to the function I had allocated it to any more. I've set up a new shortcut in Word, but even so this is driving me nuts because my use of that shortcut is so automatic that I'm forever using it and getting confused about why nothing has happened.

Does anyone know how to wrest control of my shortcut back from Zoom?

UPDATE: The problem resolved itself at some point during the day yesterday (no restart or anything, not related to anything I did). Most mysterious -- but thank you, Zoom, if it was because of some update you made!

I have just recently upgraded to Fedora 42 XFCE and today installed the Linux Zoom client.  Version 6.4.13 (2309) is what I received.  In the past on launching the Zoom client the system audio was nowhere near high enough and I had to go to my audio profile to turn Zoom very loud so I could hear the meetings.  In the past, muting and unmuting caused the system sound to return to the default setting and I had to run it up again.  Today, that was not happening.

However, during the meeting today that I hosted, every time someone entered the waiting room my audio returned to default.  Additionally, every time I admitted someone into the meeting the audio returned to default.  It did so a few other times, too, for instance when one meeting participant (who had joined the meeting by phone) dropped out, likely due to connectivity issues.

Each time the system audio returned to Zoom's default setting I could not hear anything at all and had to rush over to the audio server to crank it up, and return to the Zoom client.  It was maddening, and I missed several key moments in the meeting -- that I was hosting.  Is there anything I can do to rectify this situation?

Folks, there seems to be a mistake in the page discussing how we should make a feature request. Let me elaborate.

In any discussion here in the forum making a feature request (or if you click the little blue "give feedback" sidebar while on the zoom site), we will be directed to this support page.  It's certainly understandable to have a single point of reference where you can direct all such requests....only, the instructions on that page are incorrect. It says:

1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app.
2. In the top-right corner, click you profile picture.
3. Click Help, then click Give Feedback.
4. In the Give Feedback form, select a Product Area from the drop-down.
5. Under How satisfied are you with the experience?, choose a number between 1 and 5.
6. Enter your feedback, then click Submit.

But in my zoom desktop 6.5.3 (current as of today, on Windows), I don't have such a "Give Feedback" option.

I do have "Report Problem.."--but it's not got the same fields described here. Instead it seems focused on providing diagnostics on a problem that happened at a point in time.

Again, the support page I link to above (and all the forum threads, etc. pointing to it) are clearly about "giving feedback", like making feature requests. So it seems either that the support page needs to be corrected to refer to what DOES appear in the menu, or perhaps it should be pointing us somewhere ELSE where we can provide such product feedback.

Or does anyone else seeing this note find that they DO see "give feedback" under the "help" for their "account" icon in Zoom Desktop?

Hi. I recently realized that when Zoom sends an invitation it has my old work company information in the signature block. It happens on my iPhone. I have my current email associated with Zoom mail, and that email account only has my personal signature block. Here's the sequence of events:

  • I create a schedule meeting and save it.
  • I then go to that meeting and add an attendee.
  • I select the email option.
  • The email is created, but the signature block contains my old information.

I've looked all over but can't find a place to change that setting. I've tried a dozen or so "solutions" that come up from a Google search, but many of them reference screens or tabs that I don't even have on my browser. (
