Just received an email headed "Your Zoom account has used almost all of the available cloud recording storage".  But I have no cloud recordings stored on my Zoom Pro account.

I have made a lot of recordings to my computer, and they are listed on my account portal.  But they presumably don't take up any cloud storage space. Right?

What to do?

Zoom Audio not working on Windows 10

I have tried every tutorial/guide on the internet and nothing is working! Please Help
No audio from zoom while on earphones. I cannot hear others' audio or speak while plugged in my earphone.

- I am unmuted
- My earphones work when using other software and websites but just not zoom
(e.g. skype, youtube, etc)

Things I have tried:
- Changed the input and output audio settings in zoom to 1) the same as system and 2) to my earphones

- Tried the "test speaker and microphone" and failed in every test

- Used different earphones to plug into the earphone jack -> same result, no audio output or input (My Bluetooth wireless buds works on zoom without audio issue but not wired earphones )

- Make sure system > advanced sound options > zoom meetings are turned up to 100

- Allowed microphone access in Windows' Privacy Setting

- Uninstalled zoom (and removed all of the leftover files), restart my laptop and reinstall zoom for 3 times

- Edit: I updated, uninstalled and installed the external mic, headphones, microphone and speakers drivers on my laptop as per Ip-Man's suggestion (Thank You!)  below but it did not solve my problem

(I am on a Windows 10 laptop with earphone plugged into the earphone jack)

Please help! This problem has severely affected my zoom meetings and lessons - Thank you in advance

Hi,

I have this issue where during a Zoom meeting, the audio suddenly starts to sound crippled. On a level that I can barely understand what others in the meeting are saying. This only happens when I use a bluetooth headset. At first I thought the headset was the issue. I got it replaced by a headset from a different brand, but the issue remains. I don't have crippled sound when using the headset for e.g. listening to music. It also does not happen always. I can get the sound back to normal by disconnecting the bluetooth and then connect again. I hear from colleagues that they experience the same with different headsets and also only with Zoom.

Does anyone else recognize this problem? Is there a way to prevent the crippling from starting? It's really annoying to have to disconnect the headset in the middle of a meeting!

Hi,

Does anyone know how to return a participant to their breakout room after they loose connection and have to rejoin the meeting? When I try to do it, the room they were in is not available as an option so I have to move them into a different room first and then move them back into their previous room. Surely there is an easier way of doing this.

Thanks,

Anna

hello - i have a problem, zoom will not find my external webcam (using a sony a7iii). it only allows me to select the integrated laptop webcam. this problem only occurs on my laptop, i can use my webcam on my desktop no problem. The laptop is a dell latitude and is running up to date windows 11 and the version of zoom is the latest.

I have tried adding camera permissions to zoom in windows - but the only option there is to add permission for the laptop camera.

The cable I am using is good and works fine on my desktop. I have tried deleting and re installing zoom and checking for latest firmware for camera and zoom. Any ideas?

I'm running Zoom version 6.4.5 on Windows, and need to be able to view the screenshares of participants in my meetings without them being able to see each others' screens. All my googling leads me to a feature called "All Screens Mode," which is supposed to have a checkbox allowing me to turn on "Allow participants to view shares" - which seems to imply that the default behavior is that participants canNOT view shares.

Yet when I open my meetings, that "All Screens Mode" is nowhere to be found, nor is the checkbox, and the default behavior is that all participants can switch between all shared screens via the tabs at the top of the meetings.

Has this feature been removed? Is it limited to paid licenses? I meet all of the requirements listed on the support article here. . .

On a clean (well-maintained, no viruses or sketchy software) Windows  PC.  I recently moved to new HW and upgraded from WIndows 10 to Windows 11.  I updated my audio driver (Realtek) for the new Motherboard (Asus B760M-A-AX).  Everything works great, except.  When I go into zoom (using a USB logitech camera), The audio tests work fine, but I can't hear anyone else.  I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Zoom, and now when people are talking I get occasional badly distorted audio.  I have checked all audio settings in zoom and on my PC and all appears ok.  Video works fine, and they can hear me.  I just can't hear them.  I thought maybe zoom needed some permission but after the reinstall I do hear -something- but it's distorted and mostly silent.   I have the latest audio driver for my board, and all my other audio works fine.  I'm afraid I can't pinpoint whether it was caused by the HW upgrade or the windows upgrade :-(.    I don't think anyone will have the answer but I'm at a loss as to how to debug.  Any/all thoughts appreciated.

I am running the latest zoom (6.2.5.2440) on the latest Debian (sid; using Wayland). This has been working fine, but recently when I *stop* sharing my screen (either the whole screen or one window), zoom freezes - immediately, when I click "stop share". The connection remains for some time - I can talk to the other person, and they can see my video (but my shared screen is frozen) - but after a few minutes zoom completely freezes. I have to manually kill zoom. I haven't figured out how to get any error messages out of it either.

This basically makes zoom unusable for me. Luckily, I'm not teaching a class right now.

Any suggestions how to debug this? Is this an issue that the developers are aware of?
