Please I need to know what the configuration is for thiss issue ive got: in my classes I usually share my screen and I like to see all my students simoultanoesly. However, in the final recording i only want to see the screen I share and my camera. Hope I explaind my self well, am mexican with a bad writing english.

I’m using a University of Nevada, Reno license of Zoom.

As the host, when I enter a breakout room in response to a “Ask for help” call and then exit using the “Leave breakout room,” I lose elements on my screen that were there before I entered the breakout room. These include the Participants, Chat, and Breakout Room windows. In addition, Share Screen is cancelled and I am muted.

How can I avoid needing to reset all these elements each time I pop in and out of a breakout room?

I hope everyone is doing well. I've been facing some issues while teaching on Zoom, and it's becoming quite frustrating. The two main problems I'm encountering are poor video quality during calls and occasional crashing of the Zoom application.

Details of the Issues:

Poor Video Quality:

The video quality during my Zoom meetings has significantly decreased.

Participants often complain about pixelation and lag, making it difficult to conduct classes smoothly.

Crashing Issues:

The Zoom application crashes randomly, sometimes in the middle of a teaching session.

This has become a major disruption, and I'm concerned about the impact on the learning experience.

My Setup:

I am using an Intel Core laptop with i7 processor.

Internet connection is stable, and I have a decent upload and download speed.

Questions for Discussion:

Has anyone else experienced similar issues recently?

Are there specific settings I should check or adjust on my Intel Core i7 laptop for better Zoom performance?

Any recommendations for troubleshooting the crashing problem during Zoom meetings?

Could there be compatibility issues with certain devices or configurations?

I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights from the community. Teaching online is challenging enough without these technical hurdles!

I wanted to live stream from zoom to Youtube but I got this statement: The user is not enabled for live streaming.

However, I did all the neccesary setting in youtube and it has been allowed to do livestream. But still it doesnt work.
Anyone any suggestion?

Добрый день. Недавно обновился зум на андроиде и теперь он не работает, поскольку требует шестую версию андроида, а телефон не обновляется до Андроида 6. Скачала с интернета старую версию зума и пыталась ее установить на Андроид 5, но приложение все равно требует обновление.Можно ли как-то решить эту проблему? Чтобы зум работал на Андроид 5?

After a recent computer update, Zoom no longer automatically detects when I've plugged in my headset. When I'm home I take Zoom calls without my headset, and in the office I use it. In the past, Zoom would automatically switch to playing/recording sound from the external headset when I plugged it in. Now, it will continue playing sound of out my speakers and pick up sound from the internal mic after I plug in my headset. I have to manually switch the audio settings. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?

Is Zoom planning on updating Zoom PWA to have all of the standard features and functions that zoom has for other OS? I have a Chromebook and the PWA app has caused a lot of problems, mainly losing audio when joining breakout rooms and needing to exit and rejoin in order for it to work again. Also, not having the beauty/enhance filters available, is frustrating as well.

I would like to make a kind request to Zoom Company to make the Arabic Language Translation  (اللغة العربية) available on Zoom.

Many Native Arabs use Zoom to deliver their lectures and host their online conferences. And unfortunately, they do struggle  ALOT in utilising zoom appropriately due to langue barrier. 

This will be a great opportunity for zoom to expand as this will attract many users to utilise this platform more safely and conveniently. 

(Those users often rely on very small number of individuals  to teach them how to open the zoom , mute/unmute participants during meetings  and download recordings from the Cloud). 

Please do consider my request and I promise you, you will NOT regret it.

Our organization provides our users with various training via Zoom recurring meetings with registration required.  We offer training in various intervals: once, twice, or three times a week.  Here are my questions/issues:

1. Does Zoom allow you to program holidays so that recurring meetings (sessions) are automatically not scheduled on holidays?
2. Zoom only allows you to schedule 60 recurring meetings with registration required for a meeting series.  I know you can manually add sessions but that takes up a lot of time.  Some training is 156 recurring sessions/year not excluding holidays.
3. I cannot use the No Fixed Time option which allows unlimited recurring sessions because it does not allow registration.

Based on the information above, I would like to know how other users/Zoom admins best resolve this issue.  Thank you so much.
