2 days ago, when I went for à zoom meeting, no more sound and no more video. The sound came back by testing it. But not the video : the screen is always black. Zoom tell me :"choose another camera", but I have not another, only one, and so, I don't know what to do.  Until now, for more than a year, all was always ok, but now, no.

Is it possible to get subtitles translated from say English into Italian, in a meeting where videos are screen-shared by the Admin. to Participants? So far I saw the English transcribed captions giving gibberish Italian translations, when I turn on the SUBTITLE FUNCTION. Thx

Hello, I joined a recorded zoom call yesterday from a host party who is on a paid plan. My Zoom is a free account. I would like to know if there's a way for me to get a copy of that recorded zoom meeting/call without asking from the other party. If I sign up for a paid plan, will it be possible for me to recover that zoom meeting/call? Thanks

I would encourage your engineering team to take a quick look and guard this; because 22.04 is released next month so you'll have a lot of users experiencing a complete crash.

PS: Running 5.17.11.3835 (from .deb) on Ubuntu 24.04 x86_64 with 6.8.1 kernel

Pretty much nothing about my setup has changed from one day to the next.

My system does not need more RAM, meets the minimum reqs by about 100x, etc.

It just seems that for years Zoom worked perfectly fine and then one day I loaded it up it freezes my whole computer. Everything I try to do has about 10-15 seconds of lag... whenever I close the program (I have to control + alt + delete because I cannot even click the exit button), it automatically restarts itself like a zombie and locks everything up again.

I use virtual meetings about 15 hrs per week... with no way to contact Zoom support or any offer of a fast resolution, I will be looking for a different video conferencing software if I cannot figure out a resolution in the next 48 hours.

If there are any miracle workers out there, now's your time to shine.
