Question:  My MacBook Pro started lagging with the annotation feature recently.   I use a Wacom tablet.  I generally join from safari...would I be better off joining from chrome? This seemed to start happening since the recent apple software update.

I have the newest zoom update (5.11.0), and I really need to switch to dark mode because light mode is very straining to the eyes, especially with a huge iMac screen close to my face. however, the "dark" option is not available. in fact, the "theme" category is nowhere to be found in my settings on general in zoom.  where can I enable dark mode here in this?

I use macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. pls, I need a quick answer to this, or i'll probably go blind after some time.

One of our users at the office is having an issue where his audio will sometimes dip out. It does NOT cut off. I just loses volume level; sometimes nearly gone. 

 

It is not happening on a regular basis, and it is supposedly happening both when using his Apple Airpods, as well as the Logitech C90 webcam's microphone. 

 

Zoom is installed on an M1 Mac Mini running the latest patched version of macOS Ventura, and was running Zoom Version: 6.2.11 (43613), which I've updated to Zoom Version: 6.3.11 (50104).

Has anybody experienced this kind of an issue? Not complete drop outs; just volume levels. If so, how did you cure it? Unfortunately, I won't have the guy's earpods with me to test things. But, do have the Logitech permanently installed.

 

The most maddening issues is that it's transitory, and not reoccuring regularly; so it's really hard to troubleshoot. Hence the reason I'm turning to the community.

I use my Smartphone as a second camera to film things, that I am drawing on a paper. This worked fine in landscape mode, since the paper is in landscape. At least until last monday. Now zoom always turns the picture in portrait for the other participants, so I can still use landscape, but the others can nearly see nothing.

I took a picture of the MacBook and you can see, that the picture is turned....
Android and iOS...

Any ideas?

Streamed Videos Hang While Sharing

I recently have encountered streamed videos hanging while sharing (even without meeting participants).  I'm using Windows 11 (updated w/ 24H2 installed) and Zoom Workplace 6.3.11. The videos display just fine when not sharing. This happens using my laptop display or my UHD TV/monitor. Lenovo app used to check all drivers up to date. Rebooting PC has no impact on problem.  Nothing obvious to me while watching performance in Task Manager and videos hang.

 

I have no problem sharing the same videos using my iPad Mini (6th Generation).

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you only stream spotify whilst in zoom using a desktop laptop/computer? I have a chromebook laptop, and I can't seem to figure out how to play music, so wondering if its because it's not a desktop. I can't find any info about this anywhere. Show more

video plays for a few seconds and then freezes

Windows 11 Home, Zoom latest version.

The video plays for a few seconds and then freezes. It is the video that freezes, Zoom itself does not freeze.  No video settings help.
