Zoom Meeting Desktop Client is up-to-date(new update last night)

No error codes, however, ever since I've updated, I've noticed that the buttons won't response quickly.

Even the audio(from host's microphone) lags from time to time by few seconds. It will eventually go back to normal but sometimes it lags. We're doing online teaching so this is a serious problem for us.

 

Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Paid subscribers are forced to quit at 40 minutes

My account type is Paid (Assigned Host) and I'm a member assigned by the administrator, but I'm forced to log out after 40 minutes while I'm hosting a meeting; is this an administrator setting? How can I lift the restriction? I am a paid user and can normally support up to 30 hours of continuous meetings.

Chat disabled

During the last 3-4 webinars I've attended, I can't use the chat feature, even though other attendees are able to use it. For example, the host says "Put your answer in the chat." But when I try to type in the chat box, I get a message, "Chat disable... Show more

During the last 3-4 webinars I've attended, I can't use the chat feature, even though other attendees are able to use it. For example, the host says "Put your answer in the chat." But when I try to type in the chat box, I get a message, "Chat disabled." But clearly the chat is not disabled for everyone, only for me. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago. I can't find any setting to change this. What is going on?

Need SSO instead of linked Google account

having to log in again every time I make an appointment through zoom.

Every time I now make an appointment through the zoom application on my computer, it bumps me OUT of my calendar and I have to sign in again.This NEVER used to happen,but it does now. I don't know how to fix it nor who to talk to to fix it. As I use Zoom most days during business hours to conduct my business, this is time consuming. I need help.

Zoom crashes when drawing in another app

Since an update in the last month or two, I've found that Zoom will crash if I share my screen and use my pen to draw in another app (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Whiteboard, Microsoft Word, etc.). The video feed and all inputs (mouse, keyboard, pen) will cease to work, requiring me to forcibly restart the computer. Using the built-in Zoom annotation option when sharing my screen does not cause the behavior, but it is easy to forget when sharing an app that allows drawing. Since I used to be able to ink in any app, it seems this is a bug in the current version of Zoom.

Zoom meetings do not show me Live

I am a participant. (on Zoom meetings 2 years). I can show my Profile picture or a Black screen with my Name. Some setting must be wrong (?this is where I need help) does not show me Live or in Real Time. Everybody else in the meetings have all 3 opt... Show more

I am a participant. (on Zoom meetings 2 years). I can show my Profile picture or a Black screen with my Name. Some setting must be wrong (?this is where I need help) does not show me Live or in Real Time. Everybody else in the meetings have all 3 options and can go back & forth between screens. This happens on my Computer Windows 11.

 

Please help on this. TIA

Updating meeting in Outlook instantly reverts

I have a user who has been having terrible Zoom issues trying to manage things through Outlook and the Zoom add on. One issue she just showed me is she pulled up a meeting and changed the title then saved the event. The Zoom add on box popped up multiple times then disappeared and the event appeared to save, and then it reverted back to the original. She did it twice and then just deleted the event and started over with a new one. She's the only one who reports such widespread and persistent Outlook Zoom issues and she's on her second computer in an attempt to try and get away from them.

Hi there, 

 

When starting a Zoom meeting, joining a Zoom meeting, or just going to the video settings in Zoom, it takes about 10 seconds before my video feed starts.  When I trigger the above actions, my laptop's camera light comes on, but the screen is black (see attached screenshot). I wait 5-10 seconds, the camera light flashes, and only then the video starts.


The camera I use is "FaceTime HD Camera (built-in)".  I'm using Macbook Pro 2021 . 


When I go to the camera app, it shows the video feed right away.  When  I use other apps, like Google meet, it also comes up right away. Seems to be localized issue.


Any thoughts how to troubleshoot this?
