Hello:

 

I have a number of Zoom Meetings (and Webinars) already created/scheduled. Ever since the new Survey & Polls upgrade, whenever I create polling questions in one of the meetings, the polling questions are populating in ALL of the meetings and webinars I've already created. How do I stop this from happening?

 

Each meeting/webinar needs to have a unique set of polling questions. I don't know why this is happening where I add a polling question to one of the meetings, it's showing up in all of the meetings. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

we're a small company and just started investigating user roles within zoom

 

We have a main OWNER zoom account, using a generic email, which is currently licenced.
we'd like to add 2 sub users - with their named zoom accounts, each with a business licence e.g.

OWNER - LICENCED
---sub user 01 - LICENSED
---sub user 02 - LICENSED


my question then, is do we need to keep the a licence for the main account, or can we switch it to basic? (no point paying for a license if its not needed!)

would the sub accounts have the same limitations as a basic account if we did?
or would they not be affected? e.g.

OWNER - BASIC
---sub user 01 - LICENSED
---sub user 02 - LICENSED

Re: Screen sharing / Audio Troubles

I am hosting a zoom meeting.  I am playing a video.  I have an external camera with a microphone.  My participants complain that they cannot hear the dialog from the video.  Is there a way to increase the volume within the zoom meeting app?

In my art class, since last Thursday 2 of our class are seeing the tutors video displayed in the wrong direction, but the rest of the class can see the correct orientation.  I have not changed any settings, is there a way that I  can mirror the picture of the presenter so that it appears the correct way around?

Client getting constant Update Required notification

I work for an MSP and we have a client that gets a frequent Update required - You must update to the latest version of Zoom to join this meeting.  Contact your IT admin to update screen.  We have tried multiple times to uninstall Zoom and re-install the latest version.  The update screen always come back.  The last time we tried the re-install we made sure to check the auto update box.  Screen came back.   We checked with Threat Locker, and they did not see any instance that Threat Locker is blocking the auto-update.  If she tries to join from browser it doesn't allow her to join.  

 

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?  Thanks!

How to open MY zoom room in Browser so I can use TICTAQ to take minutes in meeting?

I just recently found the TICTAQ app which transcribes audio and is great to take minutes for a meeting.

The trouble is it only works with zoom being used in a web browser. 

And 2 Things occur. 

 

1. When I set it up tictaq with zoom, there is a link as I set it up from zoom which opens my zoom room in the browser with tictaq.  The trouble is when I shut the room and browser, I have no idea how to open the room again in the browser with tictaq.  (Tiqtaq only works with zoom in the browser - not with the normal zoom app interface.)

 

2.  I have no idea how to get participants into the browser zoom room with me.  When I did a test with a friend, if he used my normal zoom room link or ID & passcode, he was NOT showing up in the same zoom room opened in the browser as me. 

 

So Please, if anyone understands what I'm talking about here and can give me SIMPLE step by step instructions how to remedy these things, I'd be most appreciative.

Hi, 
I host different games in zoom and for a new game I need to send a message to a certain group of people. Not to everyone in the meeting and not to only one person. Is it possible to selecet several participants and send a message only to them?

Resolved! Recorded a three hour meeting locally and it has not showed up in my drive

I just recorded a three hour Zoom meeting, which said it was recording in the corner of the screen the entire time, but when I ended the meeting the file never converted and hasn't shown up in my drive. I didn't hit any extra buttons or anything to s... Show more

I just recorded a three hour Zoom meeting, which said it was recording in the corner of the screen the entire time, but when I ended the meeting the file never converted and hasn't shown up in my drive. I didn't hit any extra buttons or anything to stop conversion from happening. I did a couple of tests and those files showed up right away, but this one is not there. This is an important recording and I would like to find out what happened. It wasn't a space issue on my hard drive or anything. Thank you for any input.

This week, I Hosted a meeting using my Pro account. There were about a dozen participants. Most of them had free accounts. The presenter during the meeting had a free account, working his way through a PowerPoint slide show using Share Screen. About 40 minutes into his presentation, he abruptly lost his connection to the meeting. I cannot determine whether this was a Zoom action or some other glitch with his connection to the local network. He seemed to still have access to other internet functions. Is there a time limit on a Free Participant's Screen Share when participating in a session with a Pro Host?
