Hello fellow Zoomies! I am absolutely brand new to Zoom and plan on using it for person-to-person individual contacts so we can hear and see each other.  In this scenario, does Zoom serve well? Or is Skype through Microsoft Teams "Windows" an equivalent or better choice? I am looking for simplicity.  

There used to be a setting when I would assign people to breakout rooms that allowed me the option of either closing the rooms or extending the time they stayed open (beyond the original time I had set). This was a great option because sometimes I wanted to extend until a group finished a task. However, I cannot find that setting and when I host now the rooms auto close at whatever time I had set without any option of extending. Please help me know how to reset that extension option. Thanks!

When I join a big meeting and try to use chat, it keeps moving around wildly as the meeting progresses. I think the location of the cursor keeps changing as people add replies or likes. Is there a way to stop this so that I can type and read in a controlled and calm manner?

Hi everyone. I am hosting a meeting/virtual training that requires registration. Unfortunately, the link to register now brings up a registration form which already has the name and email of previous person who registered! Not sure shat caused this but how can I fix this? I even tried creating a new meeting with a new registration link but it still happened!

My colleagues have recently updated Zoom version to V 5.7.5. A few of them (not all), whenever they share sound, the recipients will hear crackling sound from the music/song shared. May I check with you how to resolve this pls? Thank you.

I was setting up a new windows 11 computer and didn't have a chance to go into Zoom to auto-mute my mic and auto-turn-off my video yet, so instead I simply turned off my microphone in windows before joining a meeting. I stepped away for a few min to have a private confidential conversation with someone, and when I came back I realized much to my horror the system mic that was turned off was quietly auto-enabled by Zoom! This is a HUGE breach of privacy. Why does Zoom not ASK for permission to enable the system microphone? After the meeting, I tested Zoom a few times and sure enough, EVERY SINGLE TIME I join a meeting Zoom automatically enables my system mic without asking for permission or even notifying me of doing so!!!!! Other apps such as the windows voice recorder will simply record silence instead of automatically turning on the microphone. Why does Zoom bypass this???? THIS IS A HUGE BREACH OF PRIVACY!!!!!!!!
