Every once in a while when I'm on a Zoom call my DELL Latitude 5400 computer crashes and I lose everything I was doing. I have searched the forums but I have not found a solution for this error

Hi @walter_ilabaca ,

Thank you for that screenshot, it was very helpful.

Unfortunately, you are likely dealing with a video card/driver issue and not a Zoom software issue.

Couple of things to check first.

  1. Make sure you are using the current version of the Zoom software client.
  2. Make sure that you have fully updated your Windows installation.
  3. Check that you are using the most up-to-date drivers for your video card.

If you have done all of these things and are still experiencing random issues, then

it could be that the video card is failing 😞

If you have a support contract with Dell, I would give them a call ASAP and share

the screenshot you include with this post.

Good Luck!

I'd recommend installing Dell Command utility and update all available drivers for your laptop including BIOS.

If you are using 32bit Zoom, i'd recommend uninstalling it and using 64 bit zoom (latest version) instead.
