I've changed my settings a bunch of times and I can't seem to get Zoom to record gallery view. I thought there was a way to get it to record both active speaker and gallery, but no matter what I try I can't get that to happen.
Here's a screenshot of my settings. Sincerely hoping someone can help out with this!

Bump. Anyone?

Hello,
What Zoom license did you have? Do you pay for Zoom?

Hi Frank - yes I do. I've got the Zoom One Pro license.

Hello,
Please read this Zoom support article on Recording Layouts if you have not already done so:

Assuming you are Cloud recording make sure the following setting is selected in your recording settings:

Still does not work. Pro license. Identical settings. Refuses to create any cloud recording with gallery view. Only generates speaker view. Local recording shows gallery view but not speaker view. Why have the Zoom staff not addressed this issue when the settings clearly describe this capability? Too busy adding bells and whistles that us plain folk don't need?

I had this problem and found my issue - if you are using zoom events, as we are, check who is the owner of the hub that the webinar is listed by. In my case, it was not the account that we use for hosting our webinars, so the proper settings were not applying.

Same problem here. 😡

Same problem here. Now 10 days after original submission. Why no response from Zoom?

I have the same problem and I use Zoom for podcasting. Very frustrating.

We have begun having this same problem at some point in the last year. Initially when we started using zoom sessions, it worked and recorded in gallery view and active speaker, but now, the webinar configuration settings have gallery view greyed out and it will only record the active speaker view, not what is shown in the live session of a gallery view.

Same here, we have never been able to get Gallery view working from the recording. We have all the same settings enabled in the global account settings as well.
The Speaker View and Gallery View recordings, when downloaded from the cloud recording, are always identical, even though one has a slightly larger file size than the other - like the file has extra metadata that isn't processed. During the meeting, we had Gallery View enforced and it looked correctly to all attendees - this is only an issue with the recording itself. It has been this way for years and we have never found a solution.

The only way I’ve found to save a recording in gallery view is to save it to your computer rather than to the cloud. Hope this helps.

Came here to look into this. I recorded a two-day webinar, pinned the ASL interpreter alongside the speakers and content in gallery view, and now it's completely ruined, with none of the interpreter footage appearing.
