Forced to join a meeting with my browser

It has become a recurring problem that I cannot join a meeting.  The "allow button" never appears.  I cannot launch a meeting that I am to host.  I can back door enter the meeting to start it when someone is in the wait room.  Consequently I can only use the thumbnail view and not the Gallery or Full Screen view.   I have an Apple computer with more than enough processing power to be able to access Gallery view.

@BLH  If you launch the zoom meeting from your zoom app or meeting client it will ensure that not only you are the host but also that you can view the waiting room by clicking the participant button. Hope this helps.
