Error 1110 - Outlook Recurring Meeting

I am attempting to delete an old recurring meeting in Outlook and getting this error.

I signed on to the host account on the web and the meeting no longer exists. I only have the option to cancel the meeting in Outlook, no option to just delete the recurring instances.

I haven't seen any solutions elsewhere in the forum here, so posting again in the hope that a solution has been devised.
