I'm running an online language exchange, and we have breakout rooms for each language. I want participants to be able to move freely between breakout rooms to practise different languages. As host it is great to be able to see how many people are in each room, however participants have told me that they don't get this option, so for them they don't know which rooms are already too busy (we try to keep the groups small).
Does anyone know any way of letting participants know how many people are in each breakout room, before they join?
Is there also any way to limit numbers of people in each room, to 5 for example, so once it gets to that number no extras can join?

Hello,
I am not aware of a feature or setting that allows participants to view how many attendees are in a breakout room prior to joining. I also am unaware of any way to limit the number of users in a breakout room to a specific number. There are max numbers allowed in rooms and you can find more about that here: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0062540
I hope this helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.
Thank you,
Jake
