Allowing removed participants to rejoin without requiring the session to be restarted

Is there ANY way WITHOUT ending the ongoing meeting to allow a removed participant to rejoin?

Same question here. Removed someone from a recurring weekly meeting by mistake, and they weren't able to rejoin. I googled it and found this Support article, but it's incorrect. There is no such thing as In-Meeting or Basic... So I can't find where to allow them to rejoin UNLESS I stop the meeting, and ask everyone to rejoin, which is silly. 

Come on Zoom -- can you update your Support tickets, or your UI/UX?
