I’m planning to conduct a pre-recorded webinar with a Live QnA session at the end, I had a few questions if someone could clarify:

1. As a host, do I have the liberty to start the pre-recorded webinar at my will? I want to ensure that I start the webinar only when I have an 'X' number of people in. Is that possible?

2. Can I conduct live Q&A and Polls during the pre-recorded webinars? If so, would the ultimate recording of the webinar have the Q&A and Poll data with it?

3. I want to embed the Zoom webinar landing page on my website. Is it possible to embed the landing page on my website?

Thanks for your help! 🙏

Hi Zoom Team and Community,

I’m reaching out with a critical issue that has significant implications for our workflow and webinar management. Currently, there is no functionality in Zoom Webinars to end a session for attendees only, while allowing panelists to stay on for a debrief. This limitation is highly inconvenient and counterproductive, especially considering the additional cost of the Zoom Webinars add-on.

Current Setup and Challenges:

  • Subscription: I am subscribed to the Video Webinars plan with a capacity of 500 attendees, at a cost of €74 per month.
  • Limitation: There is no option to end the webinar exclusively for attendees, which is crucial for post-webinar discussions among panelists.
  • Upgrade Issues: Upgrading to a Zoom Events or Zoom Sessions subscription reduces the maximum number of attendees to 100, which is insufficient for our needs.

Impact:

This functionality gap forces us to find cumbersome workarounds, such as scheduling separate follow-up meetings, which disrupts the workflow and increases the risk of losing valuable immediate feedback. Considering the premium price we pay for the webinar add-on, this limitation is unacceptable.

Request for Solution:

I urge the Zoom development team to prioritize adding a feature that allows webinar hosts to end the session for attendees only, while keeping panelists in the session. This feature is critical for efficient post-webinar debriefs and maintaining a seamless workflow.

Community Feedback:

I am not alone in this; many users in the community have voiced similar concerns. A solution to this issue would greatly enhance the usability and value of the Zoom Webinars service.

Conclusion:

Given the significant monthly investment in Zoom Webinars, it is reasonable to expect a more flexible and functional feature set. I hope the Zoom team can address this issue promptly, ensuring that the service meets the practical needs of its users.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt and positive response.

Best regards,

Giampaolo

I am hosting a virtual conference on the Zoom Events platform in August. Everything is set up for the most part, but we need a virtual producer the event and to do a quick dry run with the presenters.  I have tried to find a virtual producer, but so far NO ONE is familiar with Zoom Events. They are only familiar with meetings or webinar. I really need help finding someone or information on how to run an event on Zoom Events for the live event or even to do a dry run.

Great platform, but most people are not familiar with it.

Help, anyone?

importing a Zoom Events registration list into a Dynamics Event

This seems like it should not be difficult. I can't figure out why it is.

I have a recurring webinar with several source tracking links for different campaigns. For one campaign in particular, the "visitors" number seems very high, especially when compared to the LinkedIn data that shows engagement with our ads that the source tracking link was used for (e.g., Zoom saying 3000 visitors, but LinkedIn showing only 1000 impressions, with even fewer clicks, and we actually didn't generate any registrations at all). We only posted this on LinkedIn, no where else. Is it possible for this visitors number to be inflated on the Zoom end, perhaps for some unknown technical reason?  We know we need to revisit our campaign strategy and CTA in general, but I'm specifically wondering how the Zoom visitors are so much higher than what LinkedIn says.

Thanks for any input!

Hello,

I work in a library and some of our (senior citizen and otherwise lonely) customers have asked if there is a way to find zoom events that are just generally open to the public.

I have read about how to list events on a public calendar, but I can't seem to find a way to access the public calendar from a basic/free account.

Thank you!

We used to be able to create and host a traditional webinar with registration page to capture attendees' info like email and other questions. We found the only option available to us now is OnZoom event which requires the user to have a zoom account and only available for US users. Can the OnZoom event be like a traditional webinar? If so, how do I change it?
