Hi community! How much bandwidth is necessary to host a webinar for about 100 viewers? Is a fiber optic cable with 50 Mbit/s enough? How do you calculate that? I don't need video feed or audio from the participants, only chat. And how does it work exactly? Do the participants connect directly to my internet connection, or are they hosted by Zoom? So, do the users get their video feed directly from me, or from the Zoom servers? Thanks in advance, Chris

My webinar attendees find that chat is disabled when they try to use. I have changed all the settings to restore 3 times as per Zoom guidelines but it is still disabled. I have also changed the setting so that I will be alerted when attendees join the webinar but this is not working either.
What else can I do now?

I would like to run an event where participants can come into it for free. I understand that I can only have 100 people in meetings, but 500 people in webinars - but I don't like that we can't see everyone's faces in the webinar - is that correct?

I have a memorial scheduled as a webinar and the link to register is widely distributed. I realized that we want to see participants so wanting to convert the webinar to a meeting. If I convert it now - will all the people who have a registration link be able to still register. I think a lot of people will register last minute thinking the registration link is a meeting link.

I understand I can hide the participant count in a webinar, but how do I stop the attendees from seeing each other?
I have an upcoming webinar and I want to change the default option under “Country/Region” from United States to Canada.
Do you know how I could do this? I’ve gone through the settings/google and haven’t found anything…
I am an attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada. In May 2023, I have a Settlement Conference for a case where my Chinese client will appear by Zoom. The account is a U.S. Government Zoom account. Has anyone had an issue where the Chinese person could not log into a Zoom meeting on a U.S. Government account?

Where did the rating scale option go when creating a webinar survey? It seems to have been replaced with a ranking scale. It is great to add an option, but why take one away? We use the same feedback survey on every webinar we run and most of the questions use the rating scale.

Just wanted to report this in case anyone else had suffered the same problem. I noticed that I didn't have the "swap video" option button under my view tab during a webinar. After some playing around we discovered that in full screen mode it goes away! You can resolve this by getting out of full screen mode for now. Also, make sure that you have "maintain current size" button selected when screen sharing (video settings/share screen/window size when sharing) or it will revert back to the loss of swapping video when you share a screen and it goes full automatically again. Just something zoom needs to resolve.
