1) Could you please tell if the information provided in the post https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Events-and-Webinars/Is-there-a-way-to-access-personal-webinar-links/m-p/162197 is still valid?

2) If we would like to use personal links to join each attendee, all attendees need Zoom accounts (although free accounts should be sufficient for this purpose)?

3) We would like to organize a meeting for more than 300 people, with personalized links for each participant to join. To do this, we need the Zoom webinar 500 plan + Zoom Workplace pro license, at minimum?

4) Also, does the Zoom webinar 500 plan mean 500 attendees for the whole month in total, or it means there can be a maximum of 500 active attendees at the same time?

Resolved! Zoom Events upload sessions through CSV and uploading Speakers through CSV seems to not work

I have a Zoom Event set up and it has a few existing sessions and speakers.

 

I would like to upload the remaining sessions and speakers using an CSV file (basically using the instructions at https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0069120).

 

I have been completely unable to get this to work. I upload session information through CSV file as per https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0065263 but when I get to the step that says "Click Choose Files to select the CSV file you want to import. After selecting a CSV file to upload, click Open." whenever I choose my file and click Open, nothing happens. I get no error message, and there is no delay. I am returned to the Sessions screen and there are no sessions added. I tried uploading a CSV file of Speakers and that also reacted the same way. No error message after pressing OK to upload the file - just returned to the Speakers page but no speakers are added.

 

Thinking I might have a formatting error in my CSV file I tried 2 things:

1) I tried to Export my existing data, then erase every line except for 1. In the 1 Session that was left, I altered just the name of the Speaker and tried uploading the resulting CSV file. I got the same behavior as above. [Repeated this with a CSV file for Speaker and got the same behavior too.]

2) I tried uploading the Sessions SampleCSV.csv file to the Sessions area and I had exactly the same behavior. [Repeated this with the Speaker SampleCSV.csv file and got the same behavior.]

 

So, it seems like either this functionality simply is not implemented, or there is some problem with the SampleCSV.csv files themselves.

 

Does anyone have any further information on this? Advice? A sample file that actually works?

 

At this point I will enter all my entries by hand, but I do wonder what might be the problem for me. I expect to have more sessions and speakers to add in the next few days so I would LOVE to be able to do it through csv upload. Thanks.

Under custom registration questions, is there a way for you to import answer choices when you select a "single choice" or "multiple choice" question? My organization asks people what "chapter" of our organization they are from and we want to have a drop down with all of the options but we have over 200 and that's a lot to type out. Many other platforms have this feature.

I wanted to go back to an old webinar to see the email settings, but there is nothing older than 4 months showing up. Do old ones get deleted? How can I find them?

Hi Zoom Community,

I'm having an issue with Zoom's interpretation feature during my webinars, and I hope someone can help clarify what's happening.

 

In my setup, I'm the host, and I speak in Spanish. I've set up an interpreter to translate my speech into English, allowing attendees to choose between the original Spanish audio and the English translation. Everything seems to work fine during the live session, but I noticed an issue with the audio recording.

 

I record the webinar, including the interpreter's audio file. However, I found that when I switch my "Listen In" setting to English, my Spanish voice gets recorded in the interpreter’s audio channel. This is not what I intended, as I thought the interpreter's channel should only contain the translated English audio, not the original Spanish audio.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this expected behavior, or is there a setting I may have missed that causes the original language audio (in this case, Spanish) to get mixed into the interpreter channel when the "Listen In" setting is switched?

 

I would appreciate any insights or advice on how to prevent this in the future!

I am writing to seek help with issue I am facing with breakout rooms in Zoom Events.

Despite creating the event, setting up the breakout rooms, and pre-assigning attendees to their respective rooms prior to the start of the session, the automatic movement of participants into their pre-assigned breakout rooms does not occur once the meeting starts.

Specifically, when I select the option to automatically move all assigned participants into their breakout rooms, nothing happens, and the attendees remain in the main session. The only workaround I have found is to manually move each participant, which is time-consuming and impractical for larger events.

Here are the steps I have followed:

  1. Created the event in Zoom Events.
  2. Set up breakout rooms and assigned participants to each room before the session started.
  3. Initiated the meeting and opened breakout rooms with the option to automatically move assigned participants into their rooms.

Как убрать это всплывающее окно для записи конференции? 

Куда обратиться чтобы не бот, а живой человек помог решить проблему?

After receiving an event invitation via email and clicking the link to download the .ics file for Outlook, a separate calendar titled "untitled" is automatically created. Could Zoom modify this behavior? This issue can be resolved globally by simply updating the code on Zoom’s end. By changing the line METHOD:PUBLISH to METHOD:REQUEST in the .ics file, this would fix the problem for many users.
