Hi all,

 

I'm trying to make Zoom Events hub the single access area for all of our events, however as we all know, registering, paying for and attending a Paid event is only allowed in certain countries.  

 

Question: Can I provide a Free ticket to a paid event to people outside of the list of countries and they will have no issues attending and having the same experience?  Example, if someone in Botswana, Africa wanted to attend  and paid my company directly (not via zoom) and I issue the individual with a free ticket - would this enable them to attend?

Is it possible to duplicate ticket information in Zoom Events?

I am setting up an event with 7 ticket types and each ticket has the same 10 questions.I can not see a way to set up a template ticket. I have scoured the community questions and find that others have had this problem but there seems to be no answers... Show more

I am setting up an event with 7 ticket types and each ticket has the same 10 questions.

I can not see a way to set up a template ticket.  I have scoured the community questions and find that others have had this problem but there seems to be no answers.

Sometimes the instructions are go to links/event access and customise questions, then click create.  There is no create option.

I'm super frustrated by this.

Access to webinars outside the US and Canada is impossible

I tried registering for the Quizlet event, but one field was State/province. 

Since I live in the UK, there are no states (like in the US) or Provinces (like in Canada),

Therefore, I couldn't register (of course, it doesn't accept English counties!

So, it should be made clear that customers not from the US or Canada will have no access to Zoom webinars, events, or anything requiring filling in the State/Province field.

Any help or information you can give me will be appreciated.

Our work conference is limited to pre-registered participants (by csv upload) who have been forwarded access via an emailed link directly from the Zoom Events platform.

After testing we noticed you can forward the sent email (link) to an outside person and they can self-register by accessing the join button and requesting a code.

How do I delete this self-registered option?

OnZoom has been great for months. 

 

Recently some participants told me they could not sign up for my event. When they go to pay for a ticket (drop-in or for the entire series) they get an error message that simply says, "An error was encountered while processing your request."

 

I tried purchasing a ticket using another Zoom account, and I got the same error right at the point of submitting the payment.  I've also tried creating special tickets for the participants using discounted and free email-invite tickets. Those don't work either. 

 

One participant is registered for the entire series. He registered last month when I originally posted the event at OnZoom. He can log in just fine, but I'm losing drop-in participants. 

 

Anyone have similar issues? Any ideas about how to remedy the issues is greatly appreciated.

Registrant Email when cancelling a zoom event

We are about to go live on Zoom Sessions soon and are trying to test/develop an SOP for cancelling an event. I understand how to cancel the event but I'm really disappointed in the email that is sent to registrants. I inserted a message that Zoom then copies into an email they control. Here are all of my issues:

  1. Why doesn't Zoom provide an email template for event cancellation so that the branding carries over and we can control the whole message?
  2. Why can't I send a test email like I can from an email template or when rescheduling an event?
  3. Why is there a new calendar invite attached to the cancellation email that has a Subject Line of "Private Event?" 
  4. Why is the sender of the email "Zoom Events" instead of the email address associated with my license.

These are huge issues and I can't figure out any workaround. It does not appear that I can bypass this cancellation email. It is my only choice when I cancel an event. Open to any tips from current users and please put these enhancements on the roadmap! Thanks!

Resolved! Zoom Events for Chromebook?

Hi Zoom Community,

 

Wondering if there are updates on how well Chromebooks perform with Zoom events. Many of our clients will have Chromebooks. Does the Chromebook add-on help here at all?

I've edited and saved the description for a published  event and the changes won't take affect?

Будь ласка, зробіть можливим для учасників також бачити кількість проголосувавших як і для організатора конференції. 

During the demonstration of poll results, only the organizer and co-organizer can see the quantity of people who voted for a particular question. The rest of the participants can see only a percentage of the total number of participants who took part in the vote.

Please make it possible for participants to see the quantity of voters as well as for the conference organizer.
