I recently did a webinar and recorded it through zoom. I then downloaded the MP4 file and uploaded it to my website.
When the file was uploaded it is showing a thumbnail in the middle of the presentation. I cannot figure out how to get the thumbnail to represent the first slide in the presentation.
In chatting with zoom support, they told me that it is not possible and that zoom selects a random slide from your presentation to display as the thumbnail. I have a hard time believing this is true.
Thanks for any advice anyone can provide.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @DisInc.
Each web site that hosts a video designates the Thumbnail view for their site. Zoom's designation of the thumbnail is only while hosted on the Zoom Cloud. When you upload to YouTube or Vimeo, thumbnail selection is done by the account owner on that specific site... it's not a function of the uploaded Zoom-generated MP4 file.
I suggest contacting your website host for information, or if you are embedding a video that's actually hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, go there and designate the thumbnail that your website will use.
