Unable to turn on Smart Recording with AI Companion

Hi, I am a solopreneur with a business account so don't have other users on my zoom account. However when I try to enable Smart Recording with AI Companion it says "locked by admin" and I can't figure out where it's locked. I've double checked that I have the latest zoom version, transcript is on etc... Any ideas?

Hi, 

I am assuming you are also the admin on the account. 

Sign in to the web portal. 

Go to Account Management>Account Settings>AI Companion, and you should see this.

If you're the sole user on your Zoom account and encountering the "locked by admin" message when trying to enable Smart Recording with AI Companion, it's likely a default setting that's not adjustable for single-user accounts.
