I would like to check the terms and conditions for using AI Companion.

Currently managers and above are enrolled in the PRO plan.

If a Pro plan user is present in the same meeting, can the Free plan user use the AI Companion feature?

Or do all users who want to use the AI companion need to be on the pro plan?

Hi @FcPv8DrT

Just like with most Zoom features, availability of the feature in a meeting is based on the host's account, their licenses, and settings. So, if the host is a Pro user and has the AI Companion features enabled, then the other meeting participants should also be able to use it in that meeting. The only exceptions might be the others are not on the correct client version or the host has limited access to these AI Companion features to just the host.

  • Meeting Summaries generated with AI Companion will be shared with the host and potentially other participants, depending on what is configured in the host's web settings
  • Asking AI Companion questions during a meeting can also be similarly controlled by the host, allowing only hosts to ask questions or everyone in the meeting. This can be set as a default in web settings as well as adjusted in the meeting
  • Currently, Smart Recording is something set by the host before the meeting starts, but the resulting cloud recording can be shared with others, who can also interact with the smart recording features such as the smart chapters and next steps.

Hope that helps and let me know if you have any further questions. Otherwise, make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.
