recording without participants visible

How do I record a meeting in just speaker/presentation mode (record just me and any screenshare/presentation and participants if they speak) without having the participants' thumbnails/videos displayed?

Have you received any replies to this post?  I have the same question/concern.  Thank you.

Not a peep. Been focusing on making sure in speaker-only mode since then. Not convinced it's a 100% fix.

I would like to know it as well. Even I click on Focus mode, if someone is with camera on, they show in my recordings.
I tried everything. I am almost changing for another tool.

Hi everyone,

See if this article gives you some ideas: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360025561091-Recording-layouts

I have something to add. Set the thumbnail video (that appears when someone is sharing the screen) to show only the speaker (the button is a rectangle at the top of the thumbnail) so that only the person speaking at the time is included in the recording with the shared screen. This works fine for me.

Did you ever find your answer? You can use the Clips feature to only capture your screen. Great for making Help videos for team members and clients.
