change virtual background under Linux

Linux Mint (latest version) Zoom (latest version) is installed.
The existing background images can be selected and work without problems.

How can standalone background images be added?

Via the button "plus" (see picture) this unfortunately does not work under Linux.

Hi, i'm also having this problem.

Virtual background works for pre-installed backgrounds. However, if I select a photo, it doesn't appear for selection as a VB.

The problem exists using either the Desktop version of Zoom or the Zoom app from the Mint 21.3 repository.

I have also tried using Ubuntu 22.04 by booting directly into it on the same pc.

My PC spec is
