Does everyone who attends that meeting need to get the same upgrade/download?  (or just the host?)

Also that version seems to be dated oct. 30, 2023 and there have been a lot of versions since that,

why am i being directed to get a version from last year?  

i was supposed to host a meeting this evening, but the process has forced me to cancel the scheduled meet. 

If this question is answered, how will i receive the answer?                                                                                                           (if i am not supposed to enter my e-mail how will i know?)

This morning I was leading a group Zoom where I share a slideshow with audio, and the control panel kept disappearing, so I continually had to start over again. There was no time to go to a forum or chat group and read all the suggestions when I was already holding up our meeting.So, like the ancient geek I am, I 'splained what was happening to the group, and kept triing different approaches. Finally around the 5th try got it to work. I strongly dislike how we pay for Zoom and still are expected to spend a lot of time researching glitches.  This is a comment which is true for ALL THE CORPORATE SOFTWARE we use ---- the consumer is made to be the be techie, which involves spending tons of valuable time and energy researching solutions to the problem, testing them out and then, implementing before the next change manifests. If you Zoom employees could pass this on to the powers that be, it would be appreciated.  There are so many of us who use Zoom without being employed by a corporate entity, so there is no IT person to turn to--- and even so, IT employees are busy trying to keep up with rapid changes and none of them say, "Sorry, we are unsure of how to solve this," which would save us a lot ot time. 🙂 

I hosted a meeting that was held in English and a Spanish interpreter translating the meeting in Spanish as we were live. I, as the host, recorded the  English version (non-translated) to the local computer version and my colleague ( a meeting participant, not a co-host) requested to record the Spanish version. The participant successfully converted the Spanish reocorded meeting to a video.mp4, audio file, etc. My recording did not convert to an Mp4. In fact, civnersion window did not even appear for me. Has anyone experienced issues like this one? Any solutions? Help 🙂 

I have a Chromebook for college and for the last 2 years, anytime I have a class that uses Zoom as the platform for meetings there are constant connectivity issues! I lose connection every 2 minutes and 32 seconds. It drops video and audio for a few seconds then puts me back into the meeting. It doesn't matter if I use the web browser version, the app, or the Chromebook extension. Nothing works!  And no, it's not my Wi-Fi connection. 

Zoom also disables the camera on my monitor but allows the keyboard camera. All other streaming platforms work perfectly fine. IT'S ZOOM SPECIFICALLY! This issue has been brought up several times through forums and Zoom has not addressed it or released a formal statement about its compatibility with Chromebooks. IS IT COMPATIBLE OR NOT????

Hi Everyone. 

I currently have Zoom Workplace Pro. This renews next month. 

I am due to hold back-to-back zoom sessions for four weeks starting the end of September and going into the beginning of October. 

With my current plan, I need to schedule a room for each day. Is there a facility that would allow me to set up one room for the entire period of time that I need the room for to keep things simple for me? Having to send out joining links everyday to different people gets very messy and time consuming!

All of my settings are correct and the waiting room is enabled. People were always sent into the waiting room until today. I did some troubleshooting & found google workspace meetings are defaulted to not enabled. This must have been updated since yesterday. When setting up meetings in google workspace using the zoom extension for workspace, you have to manually toggle the waiting room option on the right side bar in gmail calendar (clicking the zoom logo, don't use the drop down) when using both PMI & Generate automatically. Wanted to share this in case anyone has new issues with this.

I am looking for an answer as to how to address a very bad problem with sync of video and audio in real time on Zoom meetings. I am repeatedly having the video suddenly stop staying in sync with the audio, and it lags 5 seconds or more behind, which makes a Zoom meeting impossible. It doesn't necessarily resolve even if I log and back in. It is starting to happen most of the time. I had this come up a couple years ago as a recurring problem, investigated with my internet provider and Apple, and then with Zoom, and there was never an answer or useful advice. It seemed to mostly go away on its own, but here it is recurring and making Zoom almost useless unless solved. I have not had it come up with non-Zoom apps.
This is in live meetings, not recordings. I have a Mac Powerbook. I have fast wi-fi speed. It wasn't happening at all for some time, so I don't know why this is now happening. No one I know has experienced this, so no one has any advice.
Does anyone out there have an idea or good advice? Zoom support online has nothing I can find.
