Any Mac OSX beyond 10.10.5 literally bricks my computer and, I need to know if the latest update to zoom will still be compatible before I click install.  Since 2020 updates to various programs have brought them to the point where they cannot be used "This program will not operate on 10.10.5" and, the idea of clicking "Update and install" on any given program now causes anxiety, with the possibility that I won't be able to WORK. Please tell me if it will still be compatible.

Is there a customer service number/email for technical support that could help out ASAP with a question?  I am trying to login by entering Join a meeting, entering my ID and then I keep getting a message stating "wait for the host to start meeting".  I am the host and it is not allowing me in?  Not sure what to do?

Resolved! Frustrating! Why did you change Zoom to Zoom workplace?

This app is terrible. It used to be ok, but now there are things are so counterintuitive. Also the help files refer to things that don't exist or they exist on the web platform but not within the software. Why!?? Example. https://support.zoom.com/hc/... Show more

Here it says: "How to enable annotation for meetings"

"Sign in to the Zoom web portal". Why?? Why can't it all be in the same place?


Then it says "In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings."
There isn't an "account management" button. It's called "My account"


Then it says "Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Annotation is enabled."
There is NO "In Meeting" button on that page. 

With the amount of settings that you guys have in this app, why don't you have a search field to search for whatever setting I want to change, like adding the annotation tools?
Frustrating as hell.

It's impossible to follow help instructions like this.

The reason why I'm here in the help discussion forum is because I don't see the annotation features anymore when I'm the host. Where are they!!!!??????? Is it so hard to place a normal toolbar?

Also, because the setting to disable a waiting room is ONLY in the web version of the settings (insane), whenever I open the app in my windows system it's still enabled. 


HOW DO I GET  BACK THE ANNOTATION TOOLS IN ZOOM WORKPLACE?

Some of us work for a living - 

Done Venting - 

Virtual Backgrounds without a green screen - I mean seriously - Not everyone has one - I don't run a professional studio - and I am not paying for technical support when the answer should be extreeeeeeeeemly easy - Sometimes I am one my laptop - Sometimes desktop - I had to down load a new app - and all of a sudden I have a new - AI Buddy - Great - Can you tell him I only want my picture with no green screen - 

Grrrrrrr Arggghhhhhhhhhhh

We have been using Zoom SDK for quite some time but today we noticed something which was not experienced earlier. Host video is not available to all the participants and all the incoming videos for the participants are randomized. We don't have the option to change view settings and all the live videos of participants are not shown. Most importantly all participants should see their subsequent host in the meeting but they are not able to do so as they are only shown one incoming video that is also randomized it can be either of the host or a participant. We have tried all possible changes from the admin console as well as through the Zoom SDK settings. Any suggestions?

For the last three days, registrants for my daily meeting have been getting this error message. 

I have a large room so my capacity is 500 and this is happening with less than 200 people in the room.

I have contacted support multiple times with no solution yet.

 

For context, I have done this meeting for almost five years so it is not a new set up.

I typically run 300-500 every morning and today we were at 130 with multiple people sending screenshots of this error message.

We run the meeting off the zoom app on a desktop.

We have updated the app to the latest version but other than that, I can't imagine what else can be done from my end.

 

Has anyone experienced this before? What did you do to resolve it?
