started zoom meeting and choose record locally. confirmed started recording with attendees. recorded meeting. saved to local/my computer. only a recording.conf conf file with nothing in it shows in my local file. when i log into zoom and that meeting is doesn't even show the zoom meeting recording under recordings > local. please help!

I have a 64 bit PC. I have recently installed Debian 12 (bookworm).  I went to the zoom web site and installed zoom.  The deb file is "zoom_amd64.deb".  Inside this file, at the end, it says:

This might be the date of the release.

When I log in, a window appears, and a few seconds later, zoom crashes.  The log file is long.  It contains the line:

X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)

What is the problem?

Is there a way, with Zoom features or app, to inject predefined text into chat as Host? Yes, I know I can copy and paste from a file but that can get tricky, especially while screen sharing, I've been looking for that ability for years, for things like welcome messages, posting links, etc. I had hopes from the announcement that AI Companion would do it, but no joy. If there is no way to do this, who else would like to see it added as a feature? Who else would be willing to buy a (reasonably priced) app to do this?

When I try to livestream from zoom to YouTube it is only showing the speaker on YouTube (not gallery). There used to be option to spotlight the participants you want seen on YouTube but this option seems to be gone. Similarly when screensharing for example PowerPoint or a video it is not showing on YouTube even though participants can see it or at times it cuts off the sound from the video even though it is a video I made (so no copyright issue). To people watching on zoom all looks OK but on YouTube it is showing something different. This only started happening recently. 

Help! Need prior version of Zoom. Suddenly yesterday morning (I used Zoom successfully until then) I can't load it again. I have removed and reinstalled, rebooted, etc., multiple times with no success. Maybe a rollback to the version just prior to the current one would work since it was working two days ago?

The same thing happened last November and a rep was able to provide me with the prior version which worked fine until the next update with fixes was released. I tried reaching out but that email didn't work as the case had been closed.

Ich benutze Windows 11 und habe die neuste Zoom Version und möchte meine Laptop die internen Audio Geräte verwenden. (Wobei im Browser auf dem gerät der selbe Fehler kommt.)

Ich kann unten links nicht auswählen das ich die Computeraudio verwenden will...

Da öffnet sich dann das Fenster wie in dem Screenshot zu sehen.

Wenn ich die Computer-Audio teste funktioniert sie auch einwandfrei. (In dem zoom Computer-Audio Test.)

In einem Zoom Meeting jedoch kann ich weder eine Person Hören noch selbst reden und bei dem Mikro ist dauerhaft das Ausrufezeichen.

Der Fehler ist erst seit einigen tagen vorher funktionierte alles einwandfrei.

Bei sonstiger Benutzung in anderen Apps gehen die ein und Ausgabe Geräte einwandfrei.

Ich habe schon mehreres probiert. (ReInstallation von Zoom, Treiber Updates für mein Laptop für ein und Ausgabe Geräte und natürlich das richtigen Audio Geräte ausgewählt.)

Ich würde mich EXTREM über Hilfe freuen da ich so nicht an meinen Vorlesungen teilnehmen kann bzw. nur über das Handy. 😕

I'm using Windows 11 with the latest Zoom version, and I want to use my laptop's internal audio devices. (The same issue occurs in the browser on the device.)

I can't select to use computer audio in the bottom left corner...

Instead, the window shown in the screenshot pops up.

When I test computer audio, it works perfectly fine (in the Zoom computer audio test).

However, in a Zoom meeting, I can neither hear anyone nor speak, and there's a constant exclamation mark next to the microphone.

This issue has only been occurring for a few days; previously, everything worked perfectly.

For other applications, the input and output devices work flawlessly.

I've already tried several things (reinstalling Zoom, driver updates for my laptop's input and output devices, and, of course, selecting the correct audio devices).

I would greatly appreciate any help since I can't participate in my lectures this way, or only through my phone. 😕
