Zoom app music in the waiting room?

Is there a way to play "waiting room music", ideally using the integrated Zoom music app? It would be great to set the tone for a meeting this way.

Hi Ray, thanks for that. Unfortunately as you noticed, there's no mention there of music in the waiting room. I think it would be such a useful feature.

I agree, Ramona. In the meantime, there’s sort of a workaround: make a customized Waiting Room video. By default the audio is muted, but the user can unmute it easily. See my (slightly outdated) custom Waiting Room video here:

Thanks Ray, your answer is helpful and your waiting room looks great. It seems like this is the closest solution currently possible. May I ask how you made your video?

Rather than having to create a video for my waiting room myself, or trying to find music that is free to use from a copyright perspective, I had hoped that the integrated Zoom apps might have a function which would allow me to create a welcoming waiting room within the Zoom ecosystem. Perhaps not yet.

Before you can stream your Zoom meeting to Facebook Live, you must enable live streaming, which requires a paid Zoom account. Sign in to your Zoom account and click Settings. Click the Meeting tab, then click In Meeting (Advanced). Enable Allow livestreaming of meetings.

@Ramona3 and others in the community - since I now have Zoom Music app, I want background music while our company logo shows in the waiting room before our webinar begins. How can I do this? @ZoomMusic

I don’t think the Music all can play to the Waiting Room. And there’s no Waiting Room for webinars.

For Meetings, though, your best bet is to create a video to play in the Waiting Room. See mine here as an example:

Thank you @Ray_Harwood but I'm looking for a solution to have our company logo showing with music when people login to our webinar and are placed in the waiting room.  Right now they can see our logo and message that the webinar will begin shortly, but is there a way to include music OR must I create a video of the logo with music and upload that as the waiting room "image" in order for music to be included?  Hope this makes sense.

Webinars do not have waiting rooms.

@Frank_TB thank you.  I was under the impression that when we (host/panelists) are in a Webinar practice session and our attendees login during this time, until we go live with the webinar, they are able to see a message in a waiting room.  Is this not correct?  Again, thank you for your help.
