Zoom Bombing with free floating offensive video

Laura1965

I have reviewed Zoom posts to learn the security options for meetings. So far, using a breakout room for the actual meeting has been the best solution, while leaving apparent disruptors in the main room.

I, and some of my friends, have experienced extreme Zoom bombing recently where an unknown participant takes over the screen, displaying graphic disturbing video that moves around the various squares. I wonder if they are using some sort of AI to do this. Is Zoom aware of this phenomenon and is there anything else we can do when this occurs? I'm aware of "Suspend Participant Activity" in the Security options.

Today, I've been researching how to Zoom bomb online and there are scores of boards on various platforms that share Zoom links to target. We've reported people in the past but this seems to require a different strategy as the offenders are coming in force with weapons we have no defense against.

Hey @Laura1965 recommend to report any Abusive Behavior or Content to https://zoom.us/trust-form

Also, recommend looking over the tips and tricks from https://www.zoom.com/en/products/virtual-meetings/resources/securing-your-meetings

As the host, you have the following security options to disable for participants which will limit any screen sharing capabilities, requesting remote control, etc., as the host is essentially the one to control these activities and is the one that can prevent the unwanted guests in your meetings.
