Saving recordings to desktop once recorded in the cloud

Hello,

I have been recording my organizations meetings to the cloud so that anyone could access them.  Our storage is getting full and I want to now download the meetings to a desktop.  I can download the file but can't figure out how to actually save them.  I'm hoping more experienced users can assist me.  For reference, I have an Asus laptop.  TIA.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @BrieDM.

A lot depends on your computer.  Downloaded files usually go into wherever your browser puts files by default.  Locate wherever that folder/directory is, then move the files from there to wherever you'd like to save them.  I usually use a folder on my DropBox area called "Zoom Files", and in that folder I put a separate folder for each meeting with a date and brief description like "2023-07-30-BoardMeeting", and place all the files there.

Note that if you have a DropBox account, you can have DropBox automatically copy files from your own account... you just can't get it to copy files from other people.
