Multiple Licence Rights

PaulR2
Listener

I'm a member of a voluntary society (Essex Rock and Mineral Society).  We have a Zoom Pro account usually administered by one of our members.  He will be away on holiday for our next Zoom meeting which includes members and an external speaker.  I therefore need to be able to schedule the meeting, act as Host with rights at least to Record, Mute, enable screen sharing by the speaker etc.

Can this be set up within our existing licence, eg by assigning me a licence?  If so how is this done?

If it can't be done do we need to purchase another licence?

Many thanks, and apologies for the simplicity of this query.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @PaulR2.

This is a common need: to have someone other than the Meeting owner Host the Meeting.

My recommendation is to have the organizational account owner schedule the meeting, include a Passcode, disable the Waiting Room, and enable Join Before Host, then pass you his Host Key to Claim Host at the meeting.  See this Zoom Support article for details:
