Meeting Recording Missing Active Speaker

I recently recorded a symposium event to the cloud and had my record settings set to Shared Screen with Speaker View.  When I downloaded the recording it only has the powerpoint slides from the shared view.  The speaker is not there.  What did I do wrong?

If you saw the speaker speaking on your computer monitor while they were sharing their screen then the speaker video should be in the top-right corner of the shared screen (slides).

 

If you did not see the speaker while live, then that might be a longer conversation.

If you are still unable to locate the cloud recording: Verify that you were the host of the meeting or webinar, as cloud recordings are only available to the host of the session. If you were not the host, reach out to them and ask them to share the recording with you. The recording may not have been started by anyone
