Is it possible to create multiple Zoom meetings (not events) via csv or spreadsheet upload?

We are always setting up meetings and are wondering if it's possible to do it via upload into Zoom or via some sort of Zap. We'd need to be able to include a detailed meeting Description.

I checked Zapier but couldn't find a way to do it, but am wondering if there are some experts out there who can confirm one way or another whether this can be done.

Hi @alyson

Yes, it is possible to set up Zoom meetings via upload or Zap, including a detailed meeting description. There are a few ways to do this:

Using the Zoom API

The Zoom API allows you to automate many tasks related to Zoom meetings, including creating meetings, scheduling meetings, and sending meeting invitations. You can use the Zoom API to create a script or application that can upload your meeting details to Zoom and create a meeting on your behalf.

Using a third-party tool

There are also a number of third-party tools that can help you to set up Zoom meetings via upload or Zap. For example, Zapier is a popular automation platform that allows you to connect different apps and services together. You can use Zapier to create a Zap that will automatically create a Zoom meeting when you upload a file or receive a notification from another app.

Using a Zoom integration

A Zoom integration is a way to connect Zoom with another app or service. There are a number of Zoom integrations available, including integrations with calendars, CRM systems, and project management tools. You can use a Zoom integration to create a meeting directly from the app or service that you are using.

How to include a detailed meeting description

When setting up a Zoom meeting via upload or Zap, you can typically include a detailed meeting description. This can be done by adding a field to the upload file or Zap that contains the meeting description. For example, if you are using Zapier to create a Zap, you would add a field to the Zap called "Meeting Description" and then enter the meeting description in that field.

Here are some examples of how you can set up Zoom meetings via upload or Zap:

  1. You can use a spreadsheet to track your meeting details and then upload the spreadsheet to Zoom to create meetings.
  2. You can use a CRM system to track your leads and opportunities and then use a Zoom integration to create meetings directly from the CRM system.
  3. You can use a project management tool to track your tasks and projects and then use a Zoom integration to create meetings directly from the project management tool.

Which method you choose will depend on your specific needs and requirements. If you are not sure which method to choose, you can contact Zoom support for assistance.
