Essentially looking for a way to use any Zoom package to create a live intro + pre recorded main webinar + live outro? Maybe you know other tools who have that

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @boldarecompany.

It isn’t possible at this time to do this with Zoom Events Simulive feature. But…

There is an easy way to do this, and it works in any Zoom venue, including Meetings, Webinars, and sessions in Zoom Events.

  1. Have your pre-recorded content available on your Host machine in MP4 format, and test that it plays as noted in Step 4 below.
  2. Start your Meeting or Webinar. If it’s a Webinar, start the Webinar for attendees.
  3. Do your live intro.
  4. At the specified time, play the pre-recorded video as follows:
    1. Click the green Share button.
    2. Go to the Advanced tab.
    3. Select the Video icon.
    4. Click the blue Share button.
    5. An Open File dialog box appears. Select the pre-recorded video.
    6. Note: all of the previous steps can be performed a minute or two in advance, so when you’re ready for the pre-recorded content to be played, it starts immediately.
    7. Click the Open button on the dialog box. Screen sharing starts, but the video doesn’t immediately start playing.
    8. Click the Play button on the video player. Adjust the volume as desired; its best to test this in advance, so you know what volume to set.
    9. When the video reaches the end, click the Stop Share button on the floating green-red menu bar.
  5. Carry on with your post-video live segment.

I used this very approach to a six-month movie series help by a client of mine, with a 10 minute live intro, a 30 minute movie, and an hour of discussion afterward. This worked extremely well.
