owner rights: cannot change settings

IMKIS
Listener

I'm the owner of the Zoom account of our company and its only member at the moment (so there aren't and have never been any other members being the account's admin). My problem: There are several settings I can't change, e. g. enable local recordings or saving the meeting chat, because it has been blocked by the admin.
How can I solve that problem?

Hello,

It sounds like you don't have a good understanding of how to be a Zoom Admin.

The Zoom Learning Centre has short, easy to understand courses on all aspects of Zoom use.

I recommend that you do this course;

Basic Zoom Meetings Administration

  • Duration: 10m

Zoom Meeting Admins control what users can do in their Zoom account for meetings. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Differentiate between admins and members
  • Configure account settings as an admin
  • Add users to your account
  • Access and manage Zoom Meeting reports for everyone in your account

https://learning.zoom.us/learn/course/internal/view/elearning/1070/basic-zoom-meetings-administratio...

Once you complete this 10 minute course things will be easier for you.

The Zoom Knowledge base support site has really great information for admins on all of the settings you are asking about.

If you still have questions after doing the 10 minute course come back and ask.

Enabling and starting local recordings

Allow users to save chats from the meeting
