Hi Team,

Is there documentation/information on Zoom's best practices, specifically on the Audio inputted into Zoom?

Referring to (Zoom Rooms Audio Guidelines – Zoom Support) there is no clear indication as to the signal level/loudness that should be inputted to Zoom for optimal performance.

Considering some devices/external DSP's disable Zoom SAP it is imperative that service integrators/designers have a white paper-documentation on the target volume level hitting Zoom.

Could you please advise?

We currently have 41 ZoomRooms across our campus. In my new role at my university, I now manage the majority of the ZoomRooms on campus. I would like some assistance on how on standardize our Zoom Rooms on one setup as currently we have the following issues:

  • The are about 7 different service accounts that all our Zoom Rooms use. I would like to transfer them to all one service account.
  • We also have some ZoomRooms which are 32-Bit installs and some that are 64-Bit installs. In trying to move all our PC’s to Windows 11, I want to move them all to 64-Bit installs.

What I would like to know is what you be the best procedure to change the service accounts and Bit version of each ZoomRoom so they are all standardized. Any advice on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I've had this problem since we started using digital signage, but i never got around to asking about it. the instructions say we can make updates by entire company, Site/location, or the individual units. I cannot seem to make the site/location work.  Nothing i put here will display on the lower-level devices. I must update by the individual zoom rooms.  that was fine when we only had a few signs, but now we have lots, and I would like to do entire locations/cites at once. am i missing a setting?

Using Zoom in the Chrome browser, everything has worked perfectly for over a year and I haven't changed any settings. A couple of weeks ago, my camera has stopped working only in one coworker's Zoom room. It still works everywhere else, including in the preview windows that show before I join.

It works fine in their room if I re-join from Firefox (although I can't screen share in Firefox but that's a separate issue).

The microphone works fine, but my video is disabled when I join, and the button to enable it is faded out and disabled.

I have tried clearing my browser security settings for the zoom domain, and I think that made it work for one call, but then it stopped working the next time I joined.

I had a Zoom call this morning where it worked fine. 20 minutes later, I joined this particular room and my camera wasn't working. After that call, I joined another meeting and it was working perfectly again.

This is on a Macbook that is all up-to-date as far as I know.

using macro on Cisco SX20 to join via meeting ID only works for personal ID and not auto-generated

anyone has an idea on why when using the Macro/button to join via zoom crc on a cisco SX20/80, it only works when the 'Personal ID' is used, but if the meeting was set using an auto-generated Meeting ID it will not work?

Thanks

Hi Zoom Friends!

Context:
We have a few hundred Zoom Rooms that my team monitors for issues and that we act quickly to repair if they are hardware or network related. When a Zoom Room has an Issue, it triggers an Alert which my team receives via a Slack integration. We currently export a report of all Zoom Alerts to an outside data warehouse to do additional analysis on our system.

Problem/Questions:
We see a higher number of Alerts in our exported report than we do in our Zoom Dashboards across the same time period and room selection.

  1. Why might there be a discrepancy between the number of Alerts that we see in the  exported report compared to the number that we see in our Zoom Rooms Dashboard?
  2. Does Zoom Dashboard auto filter some alerts?
    1. If Zoom Does auto filter some Alerts, where can we see and adjust these filters so we can understand the delta in our data?

Zoom Rooms are muted when some users invite to zoom meeting.

Admins have no problem but when regular network users start a Zoom meeting and invite rooms, the Zoomrooms are muted. How would you have it set to auto-unmute Zoomrooms for basic user accounts?

Hello,

I do not know if I am on the right board . I did a Json program for my LG TVS and put it in TAP Room controls .

The buttons are too small and there is no feedback response, but they do work . When you setup a Crestron button you can press and get nice feedback .  I like TAP and would love to be able to put the ON/OFF button on the main page to make it easier for the end user . To turn off you TVs ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

We have Teams Rooms for Android running on a Logitech Roommate with a Meetup as the camera, speaker, and microphone.  Teams meetings work as expected.  When joining a Zoom meeting from the Teams Rooms it loads a variant of the Zoom Android app.  Video and speaker work but the microphone comes up as "Unrecognized Microphone 1" and "Unrecognized Microphone 2" and no audio is captured.  Has anyone seen this before, is there a resolution?
