How do I manually active an account that I create (inside zoom portal) with a fake email address so I can assign a number a vm to it. 

I need a couple of false accounts to assign numbers to for delegation to others. 

*********** will get a DID and vm, but since no such email or user exists, I can't click on activation email.

 

what's the solution?

Poly CCX 500 Zoom Phone Appliance Time Zone

Hello everyone,

Has anyone been able to assign a template to Zoom Phone Appliance to update the time zone.  I have a remote user whose phone has the wrong time zone.  I'm looking to find ways to push an update via the Zoom Phone tenant portal.

Has anyone had any luck provisioning the Spectralink Versity VC9240. Followed the Zoom instructions. Getting a "SSL Certificate verification error". 

(might be related?): I have the three DigiCert Global Root certificates but cannot find instructions on how to import those to the phone (as per the provisioning note from Zoom)

Is there a way to bulk assign phone numbers to users in a single spreadsheet? I know have to first import users using a CSV, assign them licensing and build the account. During this process Zoom will auto assign them an extension. Now how to I find t... Show more

Is there a way to bulk assign phone numbers to users in a single spreadsheet? 

I know have to first import users using a CSV, assign them licensing and build the account. During this process Zoom will auto assign them an extension.

 

Now how to I find these new 100 users that don't have phone numbers?

 

I will need to export them, then put their extension into the "phone number import CSV" that will assign a phone# of my selection to a specific user's extension. 

 

Seems like lots of steps for a product that uses CSV's for import. can't believe there isn't a single template to do this. 

 

would it be faster to create a site called Import-Temp assign all users to that site, then filter them, export/import them as needed then re-assign them to the master correct site?

New customer. Single line. I wanted to have all incoming calls ring on my phone and not go through the auto attendant. Finally figured out how to unassign the company number from the auto attendant to myself. In the process I have somehow caused my number to not be able to receive calls from the outside. If I call the number I get a message that call cannot be completed as dialed.

Why is there a huge space in the quotes " (123) 444-1234)" when exporting unassigned numbers?

Zoom's exporting unassigned numbers by default puts in 3 spaces before the phone number. Why is that? if I need to copy/past this info, having the spaces is going to be a problem. how do you guys get around this. I really don't feel like having to wr... Show more

if I need to copy/past this info, having the spaces is going to be a problem.  how do you guys get around this. 

I really don't feel like having to write excel formulas to remove the spaces. 

other option, open in notepad++, remove space and quote and then open in excel, but why?

 

Does Zoom need these 3 spaces if i want to put these numbers into a CSV to assign numbers to extensions, or assign numbers to users?

I have a main Corp site Corp-Main, with several sub-sites, corp-fl, corp-ny.  Each sub-site  "almost" has the  same settings for users vm, hold music etc as the Corp-Main. I want all sites to have same settings as Corp-main. 

 

If I move Corp-FL into Corp-Main, will Corp-FL take on all the setting that Corp-Main has?

Unassigned numbers. Any report to see who might be calling?

is there some report I can run to see how many hits, or who is actually calling my unassigned numbers. we ported over several hundred and want to delete some since we are paying extra for them.

Cloud Contacts

For Office365/Outlook contacts, what is the reasoning for this not appearing under Contacts?  These devices show other data (i.e. calendar events) from O365, why not contacts? I see a similar discussion here for YeaLink phones, but this also applies to any device that is provisioned under Admin>Device Management>Device List. 

My company uses Poly CCX700 series phones.

 

Personal Contacts and Shared External Contacts

From what I can see, even though you have phone numbers defined for a contact, the phone icon doesn't appear - only the Zoom Meet Icon appears. (see attached) - Any way that this can show up?
