When I join a call, the box with my name is black.  Someone in the community said they logged in first the joined the meeting and their profile pic showed.  I have tried that.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  Today the pic was there then it disappeared.  Sometimes when I log in first then try to join the call it asks for a passcode.  Most of the calls I join don't have passcodes.  This entire process is tedious.  Is there not a simple way to join a meeting, set my disiplay name and have my profile pic show?  

During the meeting I clicked on my box in the call and selected change profile picture.  It showed my profile pic.  I selected save.  The box is still black.

More than 1 person to Sign in

I have a Pro account and run two AA Meetings a week from my account.I am an elder of 84 and forgot to sign us all in two time in the last few months!!! That would mean 12 or so folks not getting to a what may be a life-saving meeting.I also use my ac... Show more

I have a Pro account and run two AA Meetings a week from my account.

I am an elder of 84 and forgot to sign us all in two time in the last few months!!!

 That would mean 12 or so folks not getting to a what may be a life-saving meeting.

I also use my account for Family once a week and a class on Saturday. I do not initiate these meetings...just the two AA ones.

 

Can someone help teach us how I can have two other people (one for each AA Meeting) sign in on my account if I forgot or become ill?

They will not use the account for any other reason.

Registered attendee unable to join a meeting, and have attempted all troubleshoot suggestions

Hi,
I am the host for meetings, for my company, and on some occasions, I have situations where an attendee cannot join a meeting as it's saying that the meeting passcode, they entered is incorrect, even though they are in fact entering the correct meeting code. I try to assist by suggesting all the following.
- Join via zoom app
- Join via browser
- join using meeting ID and passcode, instead of link and passcode
- join on another internet browser
- restart device and try again
I even try to cancel and re-register them on, but they still cannot enter.
They mention that they have join many Zoom meetings in the past, and never had issues. Unfortunately, they don't have another device to try join on, at the time of attempting to join the meeting.
At this point I have exhausted all options I know and had to sadly explain that they won't be able to join the meeting.
Are there any other options that can be tried?

No one can see me in a zoom meeting on a desktop

Chat stick in vertical

I’m using the iPhone version of zoom and when I have a meeting in horizontal mode and then open chat it flips the chat to vertical which means it’s very hard to use and chat won’t come out of vertical mode. I have the most updated versions and have tried deleting and re downloading multiple times.

be able to continue to participate in Zoom meetings

I have for many years been able to join zoomed meetings.  Then a little box showed up asking me to update to the next version.  when i clicked yes it then  said it couldn't do it and cited Error 10008.  yesterday it did all that again and wouldn't connect me to the meeting.  i have been all over  the profile page, followed the instructions from the machine chat who then said i didn't have enough money for a human chat.  i cannot find an update here button anywhere.  i have never  initiated any meetings so i don't know when i signed up for an account. the website recognizes my email address for an id and has the other numbers for an account but then the telephone machine said it didn't recognize my account.

help  at this point i cannot use zoom at all and surely that's not what the company has in mind!

My team meeting is in person but I can't attend to do my usual job of taking minutes. I would like to zoom in without the team having to set up another camera and microphone.  I don't need to see them, no them me. I just need to be able to hear them.  Can I do this by zooming in to one person?  Or do  I need to invite all five to meet with me?  They can minimise their Zoom screen but am concerned about the inperson participants having their audio on interfering with their inperson discussions. Can anyone advise me please?
