Some people are registering for our event tomorrow and most are getting an email that they are registered and then that their webinar registration is canceled. It is happening right after they register.

We are not denying registration from other countries.

Yesterday we turned off the auto approve, because clearly we can't trust Zoom to approve.

HELP - We can't manage the emails and us registering them by hand (which sometimes doesnt even work)

Hi everyone!

I'm running recurring meetings every week on Zoom. The problem is, that I need to collect emails, but I don't want to annoy people by fulfilling the registration every meetup especially if they've been attending the meetings previously. The simplest approach would be to keep the Zoom registration that collects the emails, but I need to make sure that the attendees don’t have to fill out that registration form too often.

What do you guys think would be the best solution in this case?

Thanks in advance!
Agata

I am looking to see if anyone has found a way to request a confirmation from registrants. This is a feature that Calendly has but I can't find a way to do it in Zoom for webinars (or meetings for that matter). See the image attached to how Calendly describe this. To be clear, I am not talking about the confirmation that goes out from Zoom on our organization's behalf.

Ideally, I would like an email to go out to registrants 24 hours before the event asking them to confirm their attendance. I would love these to go into the event report in Zoom as CONFIRMED registrants, so this is a feature add. But for now is there a way to send an email asking them to reconfirm and receive an email when they have confirmed? I can see this is possible if I set up Zaps that add them to a group in my Mailerlite, then schedule an email with a link they can click to reconfirm that then automatically adds them to a new Mailerlite group called [Event Name] Confirmed, but that seems a HUGE pain to have to do for all our events.

Do you have a workaround for this? If not, would you also like to see this feature added?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The original issue: I have a recurring monthly free webinar. Typically people sign up to all of them but only attend a few. I have 450 registrants on the report but 100 show for the live event. I would like more accurate numbers of how many will actually attend.

I included a custom question in the registration email, but I don't know how to see the results before the webinar starts. It was a question of whether attendees want to comment during the public comment period. We want to know this information BEFORE the webinar starts to schedule the appropriate amount of time on the agenda.

How do I find the results of that poll? Since I included it in the registration email, it seems like I should be able to see the results now.

Hello I registered for an event, then the person constantly changes the event and I am constantly notified of this but there is no unsubscribe option is there a way to cancel my registration? I tried signing up for it again and cancelling but I am not sure that the zoom system is intelligent to stop harassing me in this manner. I figure they would have sent me two emails and now they will just continue to send me 1 email every week is there any way to stop it?

Hello all,

An invitation:

I am running a test event using OnZoom today (Wednesday) at 12PM (noon) CST/US. It’ll just be a meeting (or rather Webinar) to exercise the ticketing and entry (free) and the OnZoom wrapping, and any differences actually in Zoom when in an OnZoom event.

The meeting (webinar) itself will be a discussion about the findings and results. Tickets are free.

Anyone is welcome to join, and to come in as a panelist - or to remain as an attendee. Entry either way is free (OnZoom can be used to charge).

To join the panel, you can either raise your Zoom hand once connected as an attendee or let me know in advance – and we can test out the panelist pre-invitation mechanism. (you can let me know here, or by DM)

The event will also be in Full-HD at 1080p. So it will be a useful way to see that quality, if you haven’t already, and to test your cameras and setups at that resolution, if you want to.

The OnZoom ticketing/joining process is somewhat similar to the new Zoom Events platform – which I have also been testing. So my OnZoom test today will be an interesting exercise for anyone who hasn’t been through Zoom Events yet, or for anyone who has and would would be interested in the comparison.

OnZoom access is limited to users located in the US only. This is a general restriction at the moment - and OnZoom is still in beta.

The event will not be recorded or streamed.

Register here: https://on.zoom.us/ev/AByv5Ja7NWq32vplCG9POaxPLyw6x05hMOB7R1W7jJ8pMKHA70LuU-92sGQ6_gutD7Ueg74

Please register ahead of time if you can.

When joining, please note that you will need to be logged into Zoom with the same account you registered with.

You should also check you are on an up-to-date version of Zoom.

Hope to see you there.

Rupert
