The Zoom Community Champion Program was designed to celebrate and reward the incredible contributions of Zoom experts who bring knowledge and support to the Zoom Community. This September, we want to shine the light on one of our amazing Zoom Community Employee Champions, @jeremyjustin. Jeremy joined the community in August 2021 and has been a Community Champion since 2022 🥇

 

What do you like most about being a Zoom Community Champion? Why would you recommend joining the champion program? 

What I like most about being a Zoom Community Champion really hinges on that word “community.” Zoom moves fast, delivering an incredible amount of features in a short amount of time. But it’s hard to keep up and we need our community to help with questions, best practices, sometimes just plain weird scenarios where you need a sanity check. That is why I love the Community, it connects all of us in one place to share, feel heard, and grow in knowledge together 🤝

 

In one word, how would you describe the Zoom Community? 

Appreciated! (I say that because when you’re looking for that answer you just can’t find and you find it in the Community, it is SO appreciated. Someone took the time to ask the question and someone else answered, often times many people answer and add insight) 💡

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why? 

I would have to say at this point in our journey I’m really impressed with our Zoom Virtual Agent (ZVA) AI bot where we can connect callers into a conversational voice bot which can help them with all kinds of scenarios…and the bot can be accessed either via Zoom Phone (Concierge) or via Zoom Contact Center. It’s amazing to be able to call in and just ask questions and have a pleasant conversational voice help you out! Plus, if you need to speak to an agent for any reason, the bot can transfer you to an agent and the agent gets the FULL transcript of the conversation you had with the bot. No need to restate everything again! 🤖

 

What is a fun fact you would like to share?

One of my favorite newer hobbies is Mountain Bike riding. It’s so fun to hit a trail for the first time and just see where it takes me, and feel the adventurous experience in the journey! 🏔

This month, we want to spotlight one of our Zoom Community Employee Champions, @Josh_Stanley. Josh joined the community in October 2021 and has been a Community Champion since March 2025🥇

 

What do you like best about being a Zoom Community Champion? 

I like that the questions that the Zoom Community users ask really challenge me. Sometimes it forces me to put myself in their shoes and understand their use case in order to be able to effectively answer their question. This in turn helps me to be a better AI Specialist with Zoom and understand our product as well as how it works for customers in a better way. We all learn from every question we read (whether we answer it or not) 🤓

 

How would you describe the Zoom Community in a few words? 

In one word: "Helpful" 🤝

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why?

Custom AI Companion. I think customers (and even many Zoom Employees) are just starting to understand the power of a personalized and customized AI Solution. Leveraging company data sources in knowledge collections, custom dictionaries, custom meeting summary templates (plus much more) to improve the quality and value of the AI output is incredibly powerful today 

 

What's a fun fact you'd like to share?

I have a YouTube channel I post regularly to and have over 60+ short videos on how to more effectively leverage Zoom AI Companion and Custom AI Companion. I try my best to focus on real business problems and use cases that our customers have and try to show in 5 minutes or less how we can solve them with AI Companion 🎥

What do you like best about being a Zoom Community Champion? 

I like about the community that we receive feedback from all types of users on our products and features. The feedback, questions, and reports posted by the members of the community guide us on how to evolve and improve our technology. This can include all aspects, from UX complaints, UI problems, or problems in the underlying technology. In this way, we can shape our work, provide direct help where possible and can make sure that users know that their voices are being heard within the whole Zoom company 💙

 

How would you describe the Zoom Community in a few words? 

Vocal 🗣

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why?

Team Chat is my favourite product. It allows me to coordinate many projects and work streams in parallel, to plan and align across all different orgs and teams within Zoom, and to bridge time zones and the availability of the different communication partners, by leveraging the asynchronous communication capabilities offered by Chat ⌨️

 

What's a fun fact you'd like to share?

I love traveling and was able to visit many countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. I so far have never visited the southern hemisphere, which now has been on my bucket list for a while 🌍

What do you like best about being a Zoom Community Champion?

What I like most about being a Zoom Community Champion is that the program is open to anyone who enjoys working with the Zoom product who wants to help others with any issues they may have with any part of the Zoom product. There are many ways to troubleshoot an issue, and there are many avenues a person can take to fix issues they run into with computer programs. The Zoom Community Champion Program distinguishes a person who likes to help out a community of online and product users. The program assists users who utilize Zoom and gives people more ways to engage with other users who use Zoom. I would recommend joining the champion program especially if you utilize Zoom frequently because the program is a great network of people who are dedicated to assisting the Zoom product be the best product it can be. When it comes to technology, it is constantly adapting, changing, and improving. The Zoom Community Champion Program works to bring the constantly improving technology of Zoom to any and all users who are utilizing Zoom product 

 

How would you describe the Zoom Community in a few words?

Engaging 🤝

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why?

I believe that my personal favorite Zoom product is Zoom Meetings. I know that there are many other products that Zoom offers for end users looking for just about anything from a SaaS company nowadays. Without Zoom Meetings I would not be in the position that I am in today. When I started working for Zoom over 5 years ago, I was in Zoom meetings daily with fellow teammates engaging in troubleshooting, and keeping a sense of community when everything was locked down. Zoom Meetings kept me sane during this tumultuous period of history, and I learned what I know today about Zoom through the basic Meeting product. There are a lot of other really cool features that have grown and developed in my tenure here, but I will always be thankful for and appreciate Zoom Meetings over anything due to how easy and user friendly the product was (and continues to be) when I started 🤓

 

What's a fun fact you'd like to share?

Even though I am a Support Escalation Specialist and live behind my computer for 8 hours a day 5 days a week, in my off time I truly enjoy watching my family grow, participating in family events, building things with my hands, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I am as involved as I can be in my children’s and wife’s life; I am an assistant coach for my son’s soccer team as well as my son’s Jiu Jitsu training. My life outside of work is what defines me, and my family will always come first. Of my personal achievements that I am most recently proud of is that I am a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu and was promoted by the UFC legend Royce Gracie himself. I believe that being able to defend myself and my family as a husband and father is something that any dad should feel responsible for, and I take that seriously. My family keeps me going day in and day out, and I would not be the man I am today without their direct and daily impact they will always have on my life 💙

What do you like best about being a Zoom Community Champion?

Because I get first-hand information and know from the community where the most problems are or what is best received by the users. But the best thing is the collaboration with other community champions 🏆

 

How would you describe the Zoom Community in a few words?

Amazing!! 💙

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why?

I can not choose only one that is too difficult!! I would say the Zoom Client 😄... no Zoom Meetings is what I use the most.

 

What's a fun fact you'd like to share?

Zoom Client is soooo goood that we don't talk about. We just use it and that shows that there are almost no issues and the best thing is.... you guys keep bringing in more and more features!!! That's crazy! 🔥

What do you like best about being a Zoom Community Champion?

You don't know what you know, till somebody asks you. I find the community questions a great challenge to how comprehensive I think my knowledge is. If you give Zoom support in your job, or company, being part of the Community gives you a chance to show your skill, but I think we all have to admit we still learn more than we put in.

 

How would you describe the Zoom Community in a few words?

Knowledge. Both the answers and the questions empower my knowledge of Zoom 👨‍💻

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why?

Zoom Events because it takes Zoom to the max 🚀

 

What's a fun fact you'd like to share?

I joined a church choir at the age of nine, on suggestion from my Mum.  Only last month I found out that she did this to give me confidence. And it did. I never have stage fright or nerves, however big the audience, live or face-to-face. But I can get excitement 😁

What do you like best about being a Zoom Community Champion?

I love helping people in need. It is satisfying to be able to expand my knowledge of Zoom and help other Zoom users around the world by participating in the community. Being recognized as a Champion of the community gives me the satisfaction of knowing that my learn and contributions have been recognized and made special. Being a Champion brings you closer to other Champions. You can also obtain exclusive Champion memorabilia, which you can show off to your acquaintances 

 

How would you describe the Zoom community in a few words?

Home 🏠

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why?

I like all of Zoom's products because they are designed and serviced from the user's perspective. We like the stable and comfortable meetings even with small network bandwidth, the unlimited digital signage with a single Room license, the free Whiteboard with its advanced features, and the easy-to-implement workspace reservation. Docs is not yet available in-house, but I will love it 💙

 

What's a fun fact you'd like to share?

I enjoy being able to connect with people from all over the world on the common topic of Zoom. It makes me happy when my replies are accepted as solutions and I receive words of appreciation 👏

What do you like most about being a Zoom Community Champion? 

My job involves working with customers (most of the time every week) to consult and deliver Zoom products like Zoom Phone, Zoom Revenue Accelerator, customer-managed keys, AI Companion, and more. Being part of the community, gives me exposure to many more customers/Zoom users and how they are using Zoom products in their customized environments. This is the primary reason, I recommend all Zoom users to join the community and learn or help others with their skills. Being recognized as a Community champion is humbling and addressing a customer's need brings me personal satisfaction and gratification 🔥

 

Why would you recommend joining the champion program?

I think anyone who wants to not only help others but also to expand their knowledge of the Zoom platform should join the champion program so that they can challenge themselves while making a lot of people happy by answering their questions 🤓

 

In one word, how would you describe the Zoom Community? 

Treasure 

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why? 

Zoom Revenue Accelerator (ZRA). I traditionally came from voice and video background (UC and UCaaS) but have been hooked to AI innovations at Zoom. Our Premium Conversational product that customers love is ZRA. It helps increase productivity not only for Sales teams but for anyone who desires to improve their communications and be more productive. Happy to help/collaborate with anyone on ZRA, Zoom phone, Zoom Docs, Whiteboard, Clips, CMK, AI/ML topics 💙

 

What is a fun fact you would like to share?

What brings me a lot of satisfaction is the creativity/solutions aspect of my job ( Solution Architecture ). And it feels great when it culminates into patents that have been filed by Zoom. I have 5 filed patents and cannot wait to see them implemented. I have received great feedback from Senior management and other Zoomies when I presented it to them. Happy to discuss with Zoomies on their patents or to collaborate on new ones. To wind up and relax, my other passions are singing and cooking 🍽

What do you like most about being a Zoom Community Champion?  What I like most is that I am always finding questions about products I think I know, but they are trying to do something a little different than I used to.  Then I get to try to put myself in their shoes to figure out how they can make things work using tools and settings they might not have known about 💡

 

Why would you recommend joining the champion program?

I think anyone who wants to not only help others but also to expand their knowledge of the Zoom platform should join the champion program so that they can challenge themselves while making a lot of people happy by answering their questions 🤓

 

In one word, how would you describe the Zoom Community? 

Knowledgable 🔎

 

What is your favorite Zoom product and why? 

I will cheat and say Marketplace, which is listed as a Product in the Community but is really the 1-stop shop for all integrations and customizations for Zoom.   I like it because it offers customers ways to creatively use all of the Zoom products, and can provide opportunities for users to really find some outside-the-box ways to make Zoom even more powerful than it is with just the standalone client 💙

 

What is a fun fact you would like to share?

I have filed 11 Zoom patents (through Zoom legal), with 1 already in force, 9 pending and 1 still with Zoom legal getting ready for filing 🚀
