OnZOOM Host Forum Unanswered Backlog

Conversely, in Unanswered OnZOOM questions, there are 13 that were submitted in April, 16 unanswered that were submitted in March,  and 19 in February.  That's 48 unanswered OnZOOM questions in 2022 as of 4/21. None of the 48 have any comments attached to the question.

If this is a "host forum" where we're answering other host's questions, how do we get the answers so we can facilitate self-sufficiency? I've only been able to get one question answered through your OnZOOM support chat service and I have no idea where to email for OnZOOM technical support. I've gone through the documentation on line and it's lacking a lot of info. Like customer reminders only go out 24-hours before the "first" event in recurring events. Not 24-hours before every event. And customized waiting rooms only apply to ZOOM meetings, they don't carry through to OnZOOM events.  There is some overlap between ZOOM settings, admin and personal, that carry through to OnZOOM events, but not the majority. I assumed when I created an event in ZOOM and converted it into an OnZOOM by linking through OnZOOM that I was bringing the properties of the meeting with me. That is ABSOLUTELY not the case.

Either more documentation is needed so we can find our own answers, or we need a dedicated tech rep to clean up the current backlog in the forum and who can also provide real-time answers to our current questions.  Actually, both would be nice. Once the users get to know the product better we can help out, but first you need to teach us how to fish.

OnZOOM is too good to be treated like the red-headed stepchild. We'll keep driving it over the competitors if you help give us the tools!

I've taught many webinars using the same keynote presentations that have several 60 second to 5-minute compressed videos and the videos have worked fine.

But today, while the videos played fine on my computer, most of the attendees said the video visuals froze after a few seconds and only the audio continued. The same happened when viewing the vids on my other computer that's used as a monitor.

Does anyone know what may have caused this? It's pretty disturbing to suddenly not have videos working on a Zoom webinar.

Hi,

We have set up surveys on our Zoom events - after our meetings and webinars, we plan to have an end of event survey and an end of session survey. For some reason the surveys are not coming up when delegates leave the meetings or webinars. This is essential data that we need to collect and we have already missed out on one day of our Event as the end of session survey did not come up.

We have gone through all of the relevant settings to make sure it is turned on in meetings and webinars, and added the survey under advanced options in the actual event - and listed if for all sessions - it recorded two responses but is now not working -

Any advice?

We have set up a multi-session event. We are trying to figure out how to skip the sign-in part on the Zoom desk app with the link. We wish that participants enter only their name and email address or they could even sign-in anonymously.

Even with the link and not using the tickets, attendees have to sign-in with a password on the Zoom desk app which complicates things, and we are afraid to lose attendance or having to deal too much with delays and IT assistance the day of the event. Is there a way to skip the sign in with the desktop app?

Thanks,

Sarah

In Zoom Events, what does the agenda look like? Is there one? I need to create multiple sessions for workshops, some sessions are concurrent (breakout rooms), move them around, etc. and I'd love to know what that looks like to the end user? Basically, I want to be able to show the conference agenda.

Can anyone show me a screen grab of what ZoomEvents produces?

Thanks
