Replies in chat are not shown

Oftentimes I cannot open the replies to messages in the regular Zoom Chat. The chat shows me "3 replies" but when I click on it, only my own text box for responding is displayed. One of my colleagues has the same problem. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Hi, @TLH123,

Does the blue Reply link get a grey shadow around it when you hover over it?

When I click anywhere in the grey area around "2 Replies", it opens right up.  I'm using Windows 10 with Zoom version 5.12.9.  What type of device and operating system (and version) are you using?

Hi Ray,

thanks for responding. Yes, it gets a grey shadow, but when I click, only my own textbox is shown (as in the picture below). I am using windows 10 and zoom version 5.12.3.

Yes, the same thing happened to me,

when I clicked, only my own textbox was shown. I am using Windows 10 and Zoom version 5.16.5(latest).
Is there any Solution? How to resolve it?

Were you able to find a solution? I had uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom Desktop. This did not work.

Hi, @ZoomiMH.

Where are you clicking?

If you are clicking the red-circled icon here:

You will indeed see this (where I've started to type another reply):

Ray_Harwood_1-1700256949332.png

Tosee the actual replies, you need to click where indicated here:

... which shows the previous replies:

If you are clicking directly on the "Replies" area and not seeing any replies, then yes, there's something unusual going on... I'm not sure why.
