Call hold while conferencing

How do you get it so that the line isn't put on hold automatically while conferencing people in?  I'd like the people on the line already to be able to continue talking while other people are called to be conferenced in.

Welcome to Zoom community. This is standard call behavior, that you are experiencing and you will have the same experience with other desk phones or mobile phones as well.
