Unable to record, either locally or to the cloud

Hi there! It's my current understanding that zoom, being the lackluster company that it is, doesn't support local recording on chrome devices. Frustrating as all hell. That being said, I should at least be able to record to the cloud on a paid account, which currently is not an option. Somehow. I am the host and I have every appropriate permision available to do so, but there is just no button for me to record, and no meeting are being automatically recorded.

Do you have cloud recordings enabled in your user settings?

Hi @jcrowley2 I am not sure if you are using the Chrome Progressive Web App from Zoom but if not there is some great information here https://blog.zoom.us/how-to-use-zoom-on-a-chromebook/

And according the article, the host should be able to cloud record. @kjhartma  asked a great question about whether cloud recording is enabled in your settings.

If you can navigate to the Zoom web portal at https://zoom.us and then click on Settings, Recording, and just make sure Cloud Recording is enabled in your settings
