is MacOS Monterey compatible for zoom meetings.

I have an online business using zoom pro account for one on one sessions with clients and also to teach interactive classes. I have not downloaded the latest Mac OS Monterey because I want to make sure it is compatible with zoom.

Hey @happyelf74, here is some information on macOS Monterey

About this OS version, our System requirement page is not yet updated.
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-System-requirements-for-Windows-macOS-and-Linux

Since this is tested on macOS Monterey in a VDI environment, most likely it will be compatible.
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4411518975885-Release-notes-for-September-27-2021

I would suggest following our Release notes link for any upcoming information about macOS Monterey.

Don't upgrade.  The only way I can get zoom to work on my Mac is to disable the firewall.

I downloaded Monterey and am now unable to use zoom whether I initiate it or try to enter through another's invitation. I am trying to find help and Apple is no help

I have swirled around 2 hrs plus!!!  had zoom installed on my macbook pro since beginning of pandemic.    getting error 1132.  was able to use zoom browser to attend one public zoom meeting.  uninstalled zoom app, reinstalled, still no go.  uninstalled, now I cannot access public meetings via zoom website.  Ready to just use Google Meets and Facetime.    I do have Monterey os latest version.

Hi @FrustratedZoom

Error 1121 is a very unique error code. Please contact Zoom Trust & Safety at https://zoom.us/appeals

Hi everyone: Here is a workaround using Facetime in order to share screen:

  • To share your screen on a FaceTime call on iPhone or iPad, tap Share Content > Share My Screen.
  • On a FaceTime call on a Mac, click the FaceTime button and select Screen Share.
  • To share your screen, everyone needs to have iOS or iPadOS 15.1 or MacOS 12.1 or later.

That being said, I still cannot participate in any live zooms on my laptop because of this issue with Zoom and Mac's OS Monterey not being compatible.       Beyond me.
