can't connect to any meetings


I'm unable to connect to zoom meetins.  I'm told you must update to the latest version of zoom.  Please contact your IT Team to update.  I'm the owner/admin.  I don't have a check update on my user profile.  How do I update?



I'm having the same problem as you do. I've been trying to find out how to contact the support center but have yet to be successful.


I have the same problem and have spent the morning trying to find a solution but failed.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing errors connecting to Zoom. Please follow these steps carefully, I believe they will help to resolve this asap. 


1. Completely uninstall the Zoom app from your device

  • To uninstall Zoom on a Mac: 
    • 1. From your desktop, go to your Finder and then select Applications.
      2. Right-click on then click Show package contents.
      3. Open the Contents folder then Frameworks.
      4. Double-click on ZoomUninstaller and wait for the uninstallation to complete.
  • To uninstall Zoom on Windows: 
    • 1. Download and run CleanZoom.
      Note: Use of the clean uninstaller will completely remove the Zoom desktop client, as well as the Zoom plugin for Outlook. The Outlook add-in, Chrome/Firefox extensions, and Google Workspace add-on are unaffected.

2. Restart your computer (very important)
