Zoom client gives "You are unable to connect to Zoom" on Mac with new version

For the last week, Zoom has stopped working on my Mac.  Uninstall/reinstall (including installing today's new version) does not help.

It is *not* an issue with my network router -- that is working fine.  But trying to log in to the app, or launch a meeting off a calendar invite, just says:

"You are unable to connect to Zoom.  Please check your network connection and try again".

Awesome!    The ZoomUninstaller approach you mentioned worked!  For reference, so I can "Accept as Solution" all on one message:

I did this by going to Applications -> right clicking on zoom.us -> Show package contents -> open Contents -> open Frameworks -> use the ZoomUninstaller file.

After this, I reinstalled and it successfully worked.

@craigmcc

Please try to uninstall the Zoom client again but this time before reinstalling, ensure that all Zoom related folders on the installation folders are removed/deleted from the client. Essentially doing a clean removal of Zoom.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestion.  I did that this morning, to pick up the new version.  But it did not address my issues.

After uninstalling, did you check the installation folder if Zoom folders were all removed by any chance?

Cheers!

They were indeed removed.

If you have a Mac - I had this issue for ages and was unable to resolve it. I finally did a little more looking, and found this StackExchange post that suggested uninstalling Zoom by using their uninstall file instead of putting the Application in the trash.
