Video Pixelating during a Zoom meeting

While participating on a Zoom Meeting, our video signal / image pixelates to such an extent that we have to turn off the video. Sound remains good, however the video is very distracting to others on the meeting.

This 'fault' started to occur after the computer did the latest Windows update. Is there an issue with windows and Zoom?

Poor lighting and video noise from small image sensors are the main reasons why Zoom video seems grainy. Under poor lighting, the camera will boost the signal from each pixel on the sensor to try and brighten the image. However, this also boosts the video noise, which appears as grain in the image.
